Following today’s FA non-league allocations for the 2026/27 season, we can confirm that Bashley FC will compete in the Wessex League Premier Division next season. Naturally, we are disappointed that the additional reprieve place created following Mousehole’s request for voluntary demotion has not been awarded to Bashley. However, we accept that the procedure used to make the decision on a points-per-game basis is a fair and transparent process. With clarity now provided, our full focus turns to planning and preparing for the 2026/27 campaign. The Wessex League Premier Division is a highly competitive league, and we fully respect the challenge ahead. However, it is a challenge we relish. Our aim is clear: to regroup, reset, and fight for an immediate return to the Southern League. Preparations and improvements ahead of next season have already started. Our pitch renovation works are now underway, improvements are being made to the changing rooms and clubhouse kitchen, and we also have plans to open a new club shop, alongside the renovation of our disabled toilet facility. These projects are all part of our wider commitment to improving the club, strengthening the facilities, and continuing to build Bashley FC into a football club our players, supporters, volunteers, sponsors and wider community can be proud of. It will not be easy, but with the people, structure, and team we now have in place at Bashley FC, we firmly believe it is achievable. Today’s decision allows us to move forward with certainty and continue building strong foundations for the future of this football club. Thank you, as always, for your continued support. #UpTheBash
