@premierinn hi. Looking to book a room for 3 adults. One adult (son) has a learning disability so needs to share a room with us . Can I still book a family room like I have for the past 4 years.
English

@virginmedia Yes we have spoken many times over the last few days. They just keep saying they will call back ....Still waiting.
English

@TishaPopham Hey Tisha, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this, did you raise a complaint? ^MM
English

@virginmedia so disappointed in you. The service we have received from telephone customer service has been diabolical. No call back as promised on several occasions in this past week . Disgusting.

@BBCFLauraKT Omg...if this is real then shame on Andrew. Personally I think it is lovely to see that actually the Royal family are human like all of us . Supporting each other , holding hands, hand on the back ( kate and William) a tender word or look . Let's let them grieve.

@MarkH_Photo My heart goes out to this mum and her family. We , as bystanders can only imagine what they are all going through at this time. Its no one's place to judge one way or another only to give them support and live at this very sad time .

@RichardBurgon How on earth can he become prime minister 🤔 for god sake. At least Boris had a personality.

@Kent_Online It's like this in many schools around Ashford, to be honest for everyone's safety surely it would be best to shut schools now . Allowing Teachers, pupils and parents that are dealing with covid to have a hope of a better Christmas this year.

A Kent head teacher says his school is experiencing "unprecedented" staff sickness - and has urged parents to help slow the spread of Covid...

@BBCBreaking Wow , this will cause a few ructions I think . People should not be penalised for having their own thoughts.

@AshfordCouncil I hope they have been double vaccinated. I'm sure our homeless, and over crowded families dont mind our council prioritising properties to refugees

We are announcing that we'd like to welcome Afghan families to Ashford by helping to re-home more nationals who are fleeing the country during this humanitarian crisis. More details and our appeal to private sector landlords: orlo.uk/gW55q

@GMB That is so sad, this is hard enough let alone being reprimanded for comforting your relation

'It was heartbreaking to have to go through that.'

@PPaulCharles @transportgovuk And who wo pay for the test? Would it be incorporated in the price of holidays .
English

Our submission to @transportgovuk calls for a two-test strategy, bookending either side of a 4-day quarantine. It also means you wouldn’t be hanging around at an airport on arrival in the UK waiting to have a test. So would you prefer 4 days (with two tests) or 8 days (with one)?
English

@PPaulCharles @ThePCAgency @transportgovuk @FCDOtravelGovUK @TelegraphTravel @timestravel @BBCNews @SkyNews @AudienceNet Do you think boris will call an end to travel as the uk are still high
English

Weds update: #Denmark remains the only likely major candidate to be added to the #UK quarantine list. #Greece #Italy and #Sweden in the amber zone. #Germany sees 1901 cases, highest since 25th April but remains firmly green. #coronavirus @ThePCAgency

@GMB @toryboypierce As a care worker at a residential care home we are tested every week, but are having to wait 5/6days for our results. If we are unlucky to test positive we have been potentially working and spreading this virus around our home and to our families. Why do result take so long.
English

‘The government is failing very badly on testing and they have been from the very beginning.’
@Toryboypierce strongly criticises the government’s testing system and says it is 'shameful' doctors are being sent home because they can't be tested.
English

Prof @devisridhar says she cannot understand how countries like Senegal and Vietnam have effective testing systems up and running and the UK still doesn't.
She says it is a 'comically depressing' situation that we don't have any idea how many people actually have Covid-19.
