@Tope_Toba @BrotherPossible God is God. Read Genesis 18, when He met Abraham, He was the LORD and also referring to the LORD Himself. No other prophet or disciple in the scriptures used the person pronoun "I" when they were showing the power of GOD. I lay down my life and pick it up. That is no Man but GOD

Rev Popoola, Rev Olaleye and many more have corrected him, but the sad things is that he will not delete or stepdown from this error . Which is very bad
DON “Tobechukwu” Ade 👑@Row_Haastrup

I am horridly disappointed in so many comments I am seeing & it shows that we only interpret scriptures to fit our narrative. For clarity sake, I will explain this like I am explaining to a 10-year-old: 1. There is ONLY ONE GOD. If you say otherwise, you are a heretic There are no 3 Gods. God forbid. “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” — Deuteronomy 6:4 A singular term was used and a singular Being was described. The Bible never teaches the existence of three separate Gods. From Genesis to Revelation, God consistently reveals Himself as ONE. “I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God.” — Isaiah 45:5 2. Jesus is NOT a second God. Jesus is the visible manifestation of the invisible God. All through the OT, He was ONLY referred to as the Word of God, not Jesus, not until He put on flesh and became like man. “For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” — Colossians 2:9 When God chose to reveal Himself in human flesh to redeem mankind, that manifestation was Jesus Christ. This is why Jesus could say: “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.” — John 14:9 Not because Jesus is another God standing beside the Father, but because the Father was revealed through Him. 3. The Holy Spirit is NOT a third God. The Holy Spirit is simply God in spiritual operation and manifestation. The Spirit of God, the Spirit of Christ, and the Holy Spirit are used interchangeably throughout Scripture. God is Spirit (John 4:24). “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you…Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” — John 16:7,13 You can see from the above that Jesus needed to go so He can SEND His Spirit to us — the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of Christ. Hence, Jesus still working with us here on earth but as a Spirit — Same God. So when God works in the hearts of men, convicts, guides, comforts, empowers, and dwells in believers, we call that operation of God the Holy Spirit. 4. One God, different manifestations. The confusion comes when people mistake distinctions of manifestation for distinctions of identity. God is above us as Father, God is with us as Son, God is in us as Holy Spirit. Different manifestations, same God. Just as a man can be a father to his children, a husband to his wife, and a son to his parents while remaining one person, God can reveal Himself in different ways without becoming multiple Gods. 5. Jesus is the fullest revelation of God. The ultimate revelation of God is Jesus Christ. “God was manifest in the flesh.” — 1 Timothy 3:16 Not “God the Son was manifest in the flesh.” God Himself was manifested in the flesh. So when we worship Jesus, we are not worshipping a second member of a heavenly committee. We are worshipping the one true God who chose to reveal Himself to humanity through Christ. There is one God. Jesus is that God revealed in flesh. The Holy Spirit is that same God dwelling in believers. One God. Not three Gods. That has always been the testimony of Scripture. Hence, I don’t know what theology some of y’all pride yourselves with big theological grammar — throw that garbage away & stand on the simplicity of the scriptures which is clear enough for all to understand. Stop complicating scriptures. Selah

@realTonyUche Yes I understand. The point is, the scriptures always pointed out God as One. From the Old Testament to The New. Even John 1 stated it clearly that the Word was made Flesh and Dwelt among us see? It cannot contradict itself.

@jideadekunle_ The first most important thing I see is, seeking the kingdom of God. If we do not have love then all these are nothing. We only do them to prove superiority and people acting as the arbiters of truth

And who will judge these things Who is the pastor going to be accountable to? You? Or the council of us twitter theologians? What authority do we have to demand this of any charismatic pastor?
Fola Gideon@Afolasakin01

I think before a pastor of a non-denominational charismatic church is allowed to start a church, he should present a probationary 30-minute sermon on the doctrine of God. Their understanding of the creeds should be assessed. This is sickening.

@chukaobi My brother, work out your salvation with fear and trembling. You do not own God and neither do you hold the keys to heaven. Things like these are easy. You have reduced God. If our Holy God can create the heavens and earth and your self and me,

Any man that starts a church and is teaching Modalism is on the path to hell. Even worse, the thousands he has led to Jesus are in danger of being false converts and being on the path to hell too. So drop the toga of honour and focus on what is far more important—the accuracy of what is coming from the pulpit. When Bishop David Oyedepo taught that Job’s problem was that he wasn’t tithing, he taught an evil teaching and should be glad that people called it out instead of it becoming an upheld teaching. When Reverend Enoch Adeboye raised a magic wand IN CHURCH and told people to pray to it, he did a vile and wicked thing and should be glad people called it out. The extent of the effects of the evil of false teaching cannot be fathomed. The fact that people STOUTLY DEFENDED the two things I just mentioned, is proof of the power of false teaching when it comes from trusted or popular pulpits.

A man called by God starts his own church, has preached thousands of messages, led thousands to Jesus & has been a blessings to hundreds of thousands around the world… Then you sit in your own corner looking for an error, & immediately you find one in a 3-minute clip, you start running with it, calling him fake & heretic. You are not okay & you need help; You are puffed up with knowledge & that’s pride in case you are not aware & you need help. If you think whatsoever error was made with no bearing on the faith & salvation of the people, which can be likened to that which Apostle Peter made & was corrected by Paul, will be made by any pastor today & would in anyway sway God, then you are a joke.

Bro. The standard of the faith is doctrine. If anyone doesn't bring this doctrine, they do not have God or the Son. John said that. Your exposition on the Trinity was wrong. It was modalism. Everyone told you that. Everyone. I don't think you will change that stance. If this is about Dolapo Lawal, he preached a heresy. But not intentionally. He then came back to correct himself. Look, the one who corrects false doctrine is the righteous one. Correction is not enmity. Why call people sick because they did a righteous thing? Do you know how harshly God judged heresy in scripture?

@chukaobi The bible is not of our own private interpretation. If it tells you, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost are one and the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. I know which means united looking at it. I bet the later shows unity. I rest my case

There are THREE DIFFERENT AND DISTINCT PERSONS IN ONE GOD. When Jesus says “I AND my Father are One”, he doesn’t mean “I and my Father are the same person”. If not, he would be a liar when he says “I go to my Father” or “as the Father sent me” or “I will deny him IN FRONT OF MY FATHER.” It is the same way the Bible says there is One Baptism, and that baptism has a water aspect and a fire aspect, which both don’t always manifest at the same time. When God the Father said “Let US make man” He was not talking to angels or the 24 elders or any other created beings. He was talking to the other 2 members of the Godhead. So the idea that God the Father does not have a voice of His own and whenever He speaks it is Jesus talking is Modalism. God the Father spoke many times in scripture to Jesus and about Jesus—when he said “This is my beloved Son” it wasn’t Jesus playing ventriloquist—it was God the Father talking with His own voice about His Son. For a long time, churches like the RCCG have used a rather problematic model to teach the Trinity, and despite best intentions, using the egg analogy is bad because it doesn’t adequately present the distinctness of the 3 persons—it opens the door for Modalist interpretations. It’s just like trying to use the Body Soul and Spirit distinctions to describe God. Man and the egg are tripartite—3 distinct parts incomplete without each other, God is triune—3 distinct persons eacb complete by himself. The egg shell is not fully egg by itself devoid of the yolk and albumen. The human body is not fully human by itself devoid of soul and spirit. The Father, Son and Spirit are each fully God at all times, and unlike the egg and the man their “parts” cannot be divided or separated because they always were in existence distinctly.
