When we talk about addictions, some people think they are safe because they don’t smoke, drink alcohol or masturbate. But there are some addictions that are not talked about enough. Top of the list is phone addiction. A lot of us are guilty of this. We wake up everyday and the first thing we do is pick up our phones. You don’t even pray first, you don’t check if you can walk properly, you just go straight to pressing your phone almost the whole day. Do you know what is even more pathetic about this? We end up doomscrolling. From one app to another. Consuming contents for entertainment. You do that and end up being unproductive at the end of the day. By the end of the month, you think back and all you did was scroll on social media, trolling, watching reels and TikToks. You can’t go 2 hours without touching your mobile phone. Do you see how damaging this is? That we waste our time on our phone almost all year, time we would have devoted to learning a skill or being more productive. Sometimes go outside and touch actual grass. Plan a hangout with your friends, go for a walk, go outside and be in touch with reality. Another adverse effect of this phone usage is that it is damaging our eyes cells. Our screen time is so unhealthy - Addiction. There’s food addiction - You are always drinking soda, eating without catching a break, ordering processed foods. The adverse effect of these things in the coming years is not going to be funny. Please, fight your addictions, I’m begging you.

When people speak on this addiction p, I always laugh because most of y'all restrict addictions to just (weed, sex and alcohol). 95% of us spend most of our time on our mobile screens, yet don't see it as an addiction lol. Everybody is going down together my bro🤝
