@ruffydfire I think you should now be ashamed Of yourself. Character like you don’t deserve that office. How did he misinterpret? He obeyed a court order and a superior court has reversed it. Of which he must still obey. Is like telling a child to stand up and later say sit. Comprendre?

N50,000 Lagos Overnight Fee At Lagos Airport Triggers Fury Visitors to Murtala Muhammed International Airport are angry over a steep April increase in parking fees, with overnight charges rising to as much as ₦50,000. Managers of the airport’s Terminal Two have defended the price increase, saying the parking fee hike is necessary to ease congestion and curb long-term parking abuse. FURTHER UPDATE: We have spoken with the airlines mentioned by the lady. She is yet to reply to my message via her Instagram handle, but here is what we have found out so far: 1. Contrary to the information I received and disseminated earlier, her video was not from last year. It was made two days ago. There is a reason nobody knew the date of that video, and I will explain that shortly. 2. Why did Egypt Air not board her: According to the airline, the passenger duly presented a return ticket belonging to United Airlines (an American operator). That should have qualified her. However, she did not have either a US visa or a transit visa that would qualify her to travel via United because the route would have been Barcelona-Washington-Lagos. Without a transit visa, she would have been stuck in Barcelona. The airline insists that she only held a Spanish visiting visa. She demanded to speak with the station or duty manager and she did. The meeting was said to have been cordial. The manager claims to have explained to her that it is better she is not boarded from Nigeria than to be stuck in Barcelona. According to the manager, there was no rancour, and the passenger did not express any anger. This was why nobody noticed when she made a video. To them, it was a shock. This was why they assumed that it could not have been a recent video because there was no argument two days ago. 3. I have reached out to Dara. If her return ticket was to be operated by Lufthansa, then she would have been flown to Lagos via Frankfurt. This, According to United Airlines (we also spoke with them), depended on whether the ticket she purchased indicated that it was a code share flight to be operated by their partner airline, Lufthansa. Only if Dara shows us a copy of her ticket would we be able to clarify this. If you know her, kindly have her respond to my message, and we can protect her rights of she proves the airline's perspective to be incorrect.

This is a little bit lengthy, but it needed to be explained. I hope that it provides enough context.

Every state governor has been chosen who will succeed them. Why can't we allow @jidesanwoolu to choose his successor instead of GAC too. Good morning to @officialABAT supporters in which I belong.

Today, I began consultations with respected members of the Governance Advisory Council. We had honest, thoughtful conversations about the future of Lagos and the kind of leadership it requires. I value the experience and guidance shared. This is about listening, learning and working with others to build a stronger Lagos.

Dear former Governor @tundefashola, you are highly respected in Nigeria. With utmost respect, I would like to ask if you believe that @AkinwunmiAmbode should have the opportunity to finish his remaining four years as the governor of Lagos State. You are known for your principles, and while it's your prerogative to support any candidate you prefer, I encourage you to consider how it would feel if you were in Ambode's position. I would certainly advocate for you in a similar scenario, as every candidate deserves a full eight-year term. However, if you feel that he does not merit this, we must leave the decision to Almighty God. Based on his performance, he has done remarkably well, but ultimately, who am I to judge? Let's empathize with his situation. President @officialABAT, may you enjoy a long life. Everything is in God's hands. God bless Nigeria. I don't know Governor Ambode from Adam's I never met him or anyone that knows him because some of you might be thinking otherwise. I believe in fairness. Truth must be told @OfficialAPCNg @STinubu @SenRemiTinubu

Dr Obafemi Hamzat was named after Chief Obafemi Awolowo by his father, a die hard Awoist. Hamzat is an associate of BRF. BRF badly wanted Hamzat to succeed him but the ticket was given to Ambode. Again Sanwo-Olu wanted to be CoS under Hamzat but suddenly from nowhere the ticket was given to Sanwo-Olu on religious grounds. Hamzat is the most patient human being on earth as at now. He is a digitalised man, a top computer man. Hamzat 2027 in Kairos?

@woye1 And imagine that @ruffydfire posted the propaganda mischievously. He then later said the INEC chairman said he doesn’t have X account. When his followers already viewed the initial libelous post. We are know what we are doing.

I want our party to keep in mind that the outcome of the general election will not be decided solely by party members; citizens will also play a role in this process. @AkinwunmiAmbode continues to be the most preferred candidate for Lagos State. President @officialABAT, sir. What am hearing is that another Muslim ticket. We shouldn't jeopardize our opportunity we should learn from 2023. Peace. @OfficialAPCNg @STinubu @SenRemiTinubu

INEC: Amupitan does not own an X account, has never engaged in partisan commentary The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has dismissed claims circulating on social media that Joash Amupitan, its chairman, owns a personal account on X. Recently, claims circulated online alleging that Amupitan operated a personal account on X and had used it to endorse or interact with a partisan post. Details in comment section.

The Presidency has already clarified this matter. Bayo Onanuga clearly stated that while the amount may appear similar, the purpose was entirely different. It seems those who briefed you didn’t read beyond the headline, sir. Caution them!

Let us reflect, sincerely and without sentiment. In the past few days, the President has reportedly approved ₦3.3 trillion as a “full and final” payment for debts in the power sector. Yet, this is not the first time such approvals have been made. On May 17, 2024, ₦3.3 trillion was approved for the same purpose. On July 25, 2024, another ₦4 trillion bond was approved to settle similar debts. There have also been other approvals in between, all targeted at addressing the same power sector liabilities. This raises a fundamental question: were the previous approvals mere announcements without execution? ₦3.3 Trillion Again? Nigeria’s Power Crisis Without End During the 2023 campaign, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made a clear promise: that if he failed to deliver stable electricity, Nigerians should not re-elect him. Today, the reality is that power supply has worsened, to the extent that there are even discussions about disconnecting the Presidential Villa from the national grid. Each time legitimate concerns are raised, what we see appears more like policy pronouncements than measurable progress. Now, again, we are confronted with another ₦3.3 trillion approval to settle power sector debts. These debts were largely accumulated under successive administrations of the All Progressives Congress between 2015 and 2025. This raises serious concerns about accountability, transparency, and effectiveness in public financial management. It is important to note that government institutions and agencies, including the Presidential Villa owe a significant portion of these debts. Year after year, budgets were made and funds appropriated. Why then were these obligations not settled when due? And from what source will this new payment be made? Are we resorting once more to borrowing to service inefficiencies? Key questions remain unanswered: How did the debt accrue? What is the actual total debt in the power sector? Which components of the debts are due to operators’ inefficiency and should be borne by them? Why have previous approvals not translated into tangible improvements? Who are the real beneficiaries of these repeated payments? Is the ₦3.3 trillion approved on April 6, 2026, the same as the ₦3.3 trillion approved in May 2024, and how does it relate to the ₦4 trillion bond approved in July 2024? Nigeria must move beyond recycled announcements and confront the power sector crisis with sincerity, transparency, and decisive reforms. Until we do so, we will remain trapped in a cycle of debt and darkness. But with discipline, accountability, and the right leadership, a new Nigeria is still possible. -PO
