BREAKING: Representative Ro Khanna has introduced the Drain the Swamp Act—a bold step toward cleaning up Washington.
This legislation will ban White House officials from accepting gifts from lobbyists and prohibit them from becoming lobbyists during Trump’s term, with an additional two-year lobbying ban after leaving office.
This is exactly the kind of reform we need to stop the revolving door of influence-peddling in D.C. and put the people ahead of special interests. Kudos to Rep. Khanna for taking action!

My heart breaks for the child who had to suffer and for the family and community that just lost their child to measles. This is particularly tragic because this death was entirely preventable.
Just hours before this tragedy, GOP members of Congress laughed when I asked them about holding RFK Jr. accountable in the event of a deadly vaccine-preventable outbreak. Now, today, a child is dead. Measles is an incredibly contagious and terrible disease that can be prevented. Everybody should get vaccinated. The immunization is safe and effective.
