Okay. So when I said you should fact check, pause, process, and be logical about everything before reacting: That doesn't ONLY include "bad" news. That includes "good" news too. I have been sitting on this one and... my head hurts, but it doesn't make any sense to me why people are using this as "proof" that he's coming back. Valko was announced on June 22nd. All that screenshot shows is that his trademark was also FILED on June 22nd. Makes sense cause filing that earlier means that it could have been "leaked" by people watching for new trademarks that a new LI was coming. That's it. It doesn't mean anything other than LADS INTENDED for Valko to be an LI (which we already knew. Duh.) "But Rose, wouldn't they have withdrawn the Trademark application if they canceled him?!" No. It's been filed and paid for already. There's literally no benefit to withdrawing it. It leaves the *option* there for them, even if they never ever ever ever intend to use it, because they DID create the intellectual property, even if they ended up not releasing it, and keeping the trademark legally prevents others from stealing the idea even if the company chooses not to use it. It's a big fat nothing burger. I don't want to shit on anyone's happiness, but, as always: I want to look at things calmly and rationally, good or bad, because extreme unfounded hopium is just as harmful as extreme unfounded doom-posting. Keep pushing for answers, but don't look for answers in places they don't exist. We need to hear from @Love_Deepspace directly and stop trying to be "detectives" looking for clues. After extensive internal discussions, we have decided to make the following changes: 1. We have decided to cancel both the launch and any further development of the new love interest. We also commit that no additional love interests will be introduced in future content plans. 2. All other in-game systems and features originally scheduled for Version 6.0—including Home 2.0 and AR Photobooth—as well as the limited-time Selectable 5-Star Memory Rate-Up Event, will proceed as planned. The outfits, photo poses and scenes, and the Nighthush Box (the second-anniversary 4-Star Memory Selection Crate) originally planned as rewards for the Hunt in Linkon event will instead be sent to all players for free via in-game mail after the version update. 3. Going forward, the entire team will focus on further developing the stories and long-term companionship experiences of our five existing love interests, while ensuring a stable pace of Main Story production and updates. Rafayel's new Solar-Slot Memories and Companion will be revealed in July. Farspace Colonel Caleb and Onychinus Leader Sylus will also return in their Main Story branches in September and November, respectively. By participating in the relevant events, players will be able to obtain the corresponding 5-Star Main Story Branch Memories for free. We will continue to devote all our care and effort to bringing you richer stories and game experiences. 4. Beginning today and continuing for 30 days, players who log in each day will receive one Deepspace Wish via in-game mail.
