@CosmicSkeptic All physical things have prior physical cause. If we assume an endless set of physical causes ie an eternity of them, this is absurd as we then say they are ultimately causeless. Logic dictates an immaterial first cause to get reality up & running = God, no?

In the U.K.? Roscos (rolling stock companies), which in turn are owned by asset managers, investment funds and so on, owning the rolling stock in order to make stable, steady returns while fleecing the consumer, taxpayer and ultimately rail workers too.

@AaronBastani Poland took 1m plus Ukrainians - I am sure this has put immense pressure on their systems. Turkey took 4m plus Syrians, I can’t think that’s been any (economically) good for them. It is a mystery why non of the surrounding states are taking refugees.

Egypt has 35%+ inflation, doesn't want 2.5M permanently displaced refugees or the political overhead of being viewed as participating in ethnic cleansing - and doesn't want future refugee camps in Sinai being bombed repeatedly.

3/3 I think she may have had in mind that, for example, if pro-Palestinian activists say "From the river to the sea, Palestine must be free" other people claim that THAT is a call for genocide. But prima facie, it isn't. It's like leftists saying a MAGA hat is racist.

#Gaza cannot afford to lose any more hospitals…and yet another one is on verge of closing. Kamal Adwan Hospital, in northern Gaza, has reportedly come to a virtual halt, with only 20 patients still getting care. This is due to intense fighting as well as a lack of basic supplies: water, food, medicines and fuel. This will deprive thousands of people of essential lifesaving care. Here's the latest Gaza hospital count: 14 partially functioning hospitals; 3 minimally functioning hospitals; 19 non-functioning hospitals; 2 field hospitals. This callousness must end.
