@BizNasty2point0 Great take, I love it. 84 games makes sense because you play 16 opposite conference teams 2x, 8 opposite division teams 3x, and 7 same division teams 4x. You can remove one game from same division series in BonB years, and use 1-8 seeding to compensate.

@ESPNRefNHL There are 3 requirements to award a goal: 1) defending player is the cause; 2) immediate scoring opportunity PRIOR to the net being displaced; 3) puck enters between the posts. The first opportunity was prior to displacement. The second was not. Play should have stopped.

If defensive team knocks the net off intentionally or accidentally and the attacking team has an imminent scoring opportunity then the play is allowed to be completed. Correct call

@EvolvingHockey How does the contract projection model handle someone like Ryan Hartman? It has him projected to a $5.7m AAV for 5 years. He has been Kaprizov's 1C for 2 years, but would likely be a 3RW on any other team. Does that significantly inflate how the model values him?

Easy there, Custer. Remember that the guy who takes the first draw on EVERY PPO (160 PP FOW & 56%) and most PKs, the net front guy for the best PP in franchise history (21.4%), 2nd leading wild PPG scorer (12) has played 19 secs in the series. A chance there’s a correlation
