@SC_Boz They way the issued prizes was 1000% an issue, but was the format as bad as people thought? Seems there was still thousands of people playing till the last round, not sure that happened last year. (I prefer old classic, but is this a better way to keep people engaged?)

I wake up this morning very proud that I have finished 1st OVERALL in #NBLSuperCoach for the season. Beating the expert coach 77% of weeks, staying committed to the format, however, potentially for nothing as it comes down to a ‘raffle’ style system! Definitely feel robbed..

🚨 TEAM UPDATE 🚨 Dontae Russo-Nance (ankle) has been ruled out of tomorrow nights game vs. Adelaide 36ers at RAC Arena. He will be re-evaluated during the FIBA Break and an update on his return to play will be provided prior to the first play-in game. Both Dylan Windler (heel) and Ben Henshall (ankle) will be game time decisions, and an update will provided tomorrow as to their availability for our game vs. Adelaide.

@Diabolicalangle Right there with you Andrew! Unfortunately it felt that the season was decided after the very first game for those that faded or didn't fade sixers. Catch up was hard as it felt like the most owned/bought players each week went well.

My worst season on record by a considerable margin is now official. Even though it is probably a sign that it is time to retire, I still had a lot of fun working through decisions, and I will take the tiny ranking jump in the final round as a win! #BBLSupercoach

If I'm Newcastle, I'd let Ponga go immediately. He is the classic 🍒 on top player, not the guy who leads from the trenches that I think the Knights need to build around. Better balance with Sharpe in the #1 & use the Ponga cash for a #7 & some middles

If u want to be a top 4 contender, having one top tier superstar fullback who is on the highest annual pay in the NRL among a crew of average players clearly doesn't work. A teams performance is always the sum of its weakest links

@Tobyjc3 I agree to disagree. For me Ponga is a clear "Cherry on Top" player & polar opposite of a building block for a bottom 5 team. A future if Fletcher Sharpe at #1 and invest his record annual deal in middles & a guy on the up like 24yo Toby Sexton would have been balanced

@CamMagicMan The guy single handedly dragged Newcastle to top 8 finishes in 4 out of the last 5 seasons with a consistent spine of some of the worst players in their positions in the NRL. The disrespect he gets from 1 injury plagued season is actually insane 😵‍💫
