@gt65dusk Bellamy & Storm has access to & the execution of the largest pool of 3rd party deals in the NRL. Broncs are close & Roosters have the Bondi post career Mafia behind their coaches. Ivan doesn't have that, instead he has had to turn over more than 25 top 30 players in 6 years

@CamMagicMan Yeah, he's very good but Bellamy is the GOAT. He's kept the Storm competitive, and winning titles, for decades.

Ivan Cleary is the most underrated NRL coach in the history of the game. He was incredible at the Warriors & what he continues to do to promote connection, resilience & execution at Penrith, despite losing over 25 players since 2020 has absolutely never been seen before

@CamMagicMan His coaching is 2nd to none. Would be a monumental task to get a team up every single year the way he’s done it after 4 prems in a row. The way they came so close last year after a hard year for their standards, and to come out firing the way they have, is admirable. Resilience.

@CamMagicMan @Thinwhytduke Ivan played cricket for Beacon Hill Youth Club, where he grew up. I think it might've been 2016 that he got a job as referee director or something. I was going to a lot of Brookie games then (I live nearby) and twice saw him walking through crowd, anonymous and unrecognised.
