For the fact that I prayed, I waited, and trusted God and he came, and I did my due diligence as a godly wife in service to God and man in total submissiveness, wanting nothing. If all he has to repay me back is cheating, my dear GSW, thank God we know each other beyond social media, brother mi, I WILL WALK AWAY. It is a deservice to me and God for him to cheat on me. I am defiled and desecrated. I am not ignorant of my kingdom right as a child of God. On that bed of adultery ends the marriage. I get your zeal, but that's reading a lot into the text. The Scriptures are pretty plain when it comes to death events. A straightforward reading is that Jonah was praying alive in the belly of the fish, using "sheol" as an idiom to describe his peril. Sheol and shacat are used numerous times in the Psalms to refer to mortal danger for people who are alive, and not always a reference to death. The miracle is that Jonah was alive in the fish's stomach, and repented of his disobedience. The sign of Jonah was on a time scale; Jesus didn't say that Jonah was alive and resurrected.

Seriously? A picture of Jonah just chilling in the belly of the great fish like it was some luxury boat cruise? Looks like ur the one who needs to grow up and stop reading the Bible like a childrens picture book flipping past the cute illustrations. If youre gonna mock it at least get the story right. The text doesnt say Jonah survived in the great fish…it wasnt a refuge; it was a tomb. You atheists love to pretend that Jonah was just hanging out in the fish….maybe even taking a nap or two to pass the time. Utter nonsense. Jonah prayed while he was still on the boat, as the sailors threw him overboard and he continued praying from inside the belly of the fish…until he drowned. Read his own prayer from inside the fish: “I called out to the Lord, out of my distress… From the belly of Sheol I cried and you heard my voice… The waters closed in over me to the point of death; the flood surrounded me; seaweed was wrapped around my head; I went down to the roots of the mountains; the earth with its bars closed upon me forever… Yet you brought up my life from the pit, O Lord my God.” (Jonah 2:2–6) He prays from Sheol….the Old Testament place of the dead. He says the waters took him “to the point of death.” Seaweed wrapped around his head and the earth barred him in forever. Thats not a guy whos just uncomfortable….thats a man describing his own death. So yes…..Jonah died in the belly of the great fish. The miracle wasnt that he survived underwater for three days. The miracle was that God raised him from the dead after the fish vomited his dead body onto dry land. And thats exactly the sign Jesus pointed to: “But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign; and so no sign will be given to it except the SIGN OF JONAH the prophet; For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matt 12:39-40) Jesus didnt say “as Jonah lived in the fish…” He pointed to Jonahs death and resurrection as a sign of His own. Jonah died. God raised him. Jesus died. God raised Him. Thats the parallel…not a three day aquarium stay. The sign of Jonah isnt survival. Its resurrection. Full stop.

This youngster Kosisochukwu Nnamani drowned while trying to fetch water at College of Immaculate Conception Enugu (CIC) school reservoir. This happened on May 4th. This is pure negligence and lack of safeguarding from the school. Why should students fetch water in reservoirs?

Since this Moniepoint recruitment brouhaha started, I have received quite a number of recruitment startup decks from emergency founders. This is the problem with Nigerian entrepreneurship. Most people jump at opportunities without thinking things through. The problem is not recruitment, the problem is Nigeria. Why don’t you build startups to fix governance and prevent corruption first? Why not build startups that prevent vote buying and election rigging? I discovered over 20 years ago that the sectors to deploy tech to fix problems in Nigeria and most of Africa were Education, Healthcare, and Governance. They are still the sectors with the least entrepreneurial activity. Everyone wants to build a fintech or for fintechs.

I think it’s because we have more Southerners abroad. The margin is so wide that whenever something happens abroad, people are more likely to assume it was done by a Southerner. And also the more liberal nature of the South also contributes to it. In contrast, the more conservative nature of the North would rather explore other options, such as reconciliation, before it comes down to divorce.

I’m an exceptional global UK talent. That’s equivalent to expatriates in NG. I visited my school for MA enrolment and the enrolment officer said “you’re on a talent visa not student? Wow, we are honoured to have you in our country.” Nothing about me is average by God’s grace.

I just finished a long call from the Abia State Government team regarding the current state of Abia State University. Investigations will commence immediately. Their word is that if after the investigation and it requires them to fire 90% of the staff to sanitize the system, they will do it. We will not tolerate extortion or students molestations in our universities anymore. We will expose them, show their faces and jail them. Extortions, molestations and sorting is the major reason why we have low quality graduates in our universities. It must stop!
