The original is considered philosophically feminist in that the story is unflinching told from the victims perspective. As Joe Bob Briggs once said, if OG feminists made a film depicting the true nature of rape, it would look lile I Spit On Your Grave. Seek out the original. The remakes don't merit a mention.

@mail_makey @TodBrowningFan @JShooke You have a point. I haven't watched the og but I watched remake trilogy, the most obnoxiously feminist was the third one and it was the most dogshit, the tortures were least imaginative, and IIRC there wasn't rape scene at all.
