Third anniversary yesterday since my mum died - seeing @suedeHQ play “She Still Leads Me On” last night was one of the most emotional and life-affirming things ever. Love that band.

Quite drunk. Got home and squashed a fly. Said out loud “Go tell your friends.” Would do it again.

Managed to have the briefest of chats with Albini on two occasions. He seemed genuinely nice. Wasn’t up for my idea of a game of poker, though.

@mikesbrowns @Jac5Connor @pobrecito In the books, it’s 12 years between Dune and Dune Messiah. Not sure Taylor-Joy can pass for 12 without it being super uncomfortable. Just felt it was an entirely unnecessary moment in the film.

@Jac5Connor @pobrecito I also think they kind of shot themselves in the foot revealing her character as Anya Taylor-Joy I’m sure there are countless ways to address her character, but if they go the traditional route and include her in the next movie how old will Paul have to be?

Yeah, I was lucky enough to see #DunePart2 tonight but I will need to see it again. The scale of it is just off the hook. Rebecca Ferguson is mesmeric. Bardem, Chalamet and Zendaya are nothing but pure chemistry on screen. Visually stunning, epic in scope, cinema at its peak.
