@BKRBusinessMin Thank you, Scott. “Broken” may be slightly too strong of a word but Med Ed certainly needs updating & reform. After all, it’s still largely based on the model from the Flexner Report published over a century ago. Keep on pushing us to understand, learn, and think progressively.

Unpopular opinion
Medical education in our country is broken. It's creates great drs and is too long, too expensive and too outdated.
Nurse education was accelerated very quickly to solve an issue. Why the f can't we do this with Dr education. They do it in other countries. What is wrong with us. Easy solutions to big huge problems and we can't do them.

We have evacuated to higher ground from Kailua Oahu. 2 hours out from potential impact and traffic is moving again and the people are anxious but doing well. Be safe over there.

Tsunami sirens going off here in Princeville on Kauai and new phone alert just hit. Shops all closing in Hanalei and traffic building up at the Foodland and other roads as people seek higher ground. Emergency rescue response and food located at the Princeville Public Library.

A flight to Spokane was canceled and the FA were sent home instead of reassigned. Where is local Ledership?
