If you DOUBLED the Social Security check of every US Senior Citizen It would still be less than our Gov was paying each month to illegal aliens who never paid a dime into the system and didn't qualify. If our Gov could afford to pay illegal aliens, they certainly can afford to pay Seniors who EARNED IT!

I’m having a very bittersweet day. My wife’s friend and our neighbor, had a funeral service today for her uncle, who she has been helping to care for in a nursing home for over a year. When hospice care came in, she knew the time was short. But she’s having a difficult time. The funeral service was good, with a three volley rifle salute. Prayers needed. Today is also the four year anniversary of my dad’s death. I’m sitting here on our back porch drinking a beer after mowing the grass, because we’ve finally got a break in the rain. And my dogs feel my heavy heart. They are such a gift. One of my favorite things in life, was sitting outside drinking a beer with my dad, talking and laughing about good old times. I loved my dad’s laugh and I miss him. We went through a very difficult two years trying to get our new house built and he passed before it happened. He would have loved it here on our back porch. My mom was able to come out for a visit in May and it was rejuvenating for my heart. My dad was a really good man and I thank God that he rubbed off a little on me. I love and miss him. Cheers dad!
