My clay needs da heat to dry more. I dug some up and it looks real shitty yet. Also need more bio booster rooster to aid microbial digestion I see. If you see Lyle’s fingerprints in the clay it means it’s too wet for tillage !

@Michaelfiore I have been accused of herbicide drift injury that looks like that. It is not, if it was it would be just one side of the tree in my experience! More evidence is that there never is dead grass around neighbours trees.

Person in Michigan is asking what happened to her arborvitae hedge. They looked perfect last year. This will be obvious to anyone who has dealt with it before. I’ll put the answer below.

@kevinki16180099 24d ester/amine definitely are easier to work with on burndown. Don’t forget a little residual herbicide as well!

@WoodyVa2 You haven’t priced a new bin have you? Sometimes the savings are large $$ to move a bin. We moved/built 8 bins but mostly our own labour.

Feel poorer at the grocery store? Here’s exactly why. Since 2020: Food prices ↑ ~30% Wages ↑ ~20% That shaded gap? That’s lost purchasing power. Canadians aren’t imagining it.

@jcurtis7ac I am in the ash cut zone. At the Time it was disturbing but turns out the government experiment did us well. And they paid to replace trees with another species !

@kevinki16180099 That seems like an extreme difference. Did you prepay urea vs 28% priced now?

Agronomy on Thursday , for those who have not purchased their N needs yet ,and with Urea 25 cents + a lb. less than 28%. Recommendation for treating 46% (if needed) for corn. Would be mixed with P & K air flowed on. Prefer side dress 28% but saving $50 acre +. Good/Bad ?
