@C0nditi0nSupply @iamAtheistGirl I agree with this wholeheartedly. Religion is the millstone around the human race’s neck.

Imagine training daily to serve your country, then getting KICKED OUT of the military over taking nutritional supplements sold on base!
It can happen.
Our troops deserve better than a gotcha-style crackdown on their honest mistakes.
I introduced the Protecting Enlisted Recruits from Excessive and Catastrophic Trials (PERFECT) Act today to mandate transparency for banned supplement lists and flexibility in dealing with accidental violations.

@nytimes @MaryCDurham51 Good! When Trump’s gone, it will give U.S. citizens something to take pleasure in destroying!

Breaking News: A federal panel approved President Trump’s plan to build a 250-foot triumphal arch in Washington. The arts panel, whose members were selected by Trump, has an advisory role on the design of the project but no enforcement power. nyti.ms/4a11mUS

@FightofFaith @darwintojesus I’ll take eternal darkness over eternally having to praise God like some filthy MAGA chump.
English

@darwintojesus The fool says in his heart “there is no God”
His end is eternal darkness.

@MarshaBlackburn The President’s corruption is your corruption. You have done grave damage to America.

Scientists mapped a piece of brain the size of half a grain of rice.
One-millionth the size of the human brain.
It took them a year and over 1.4 million gigabytes to scan it.
They found over 57,000 cells, 150 million synapses, and even some new structures they didn't know existed.
Mapping the entire human brain in this level of detail would require all the data storage generated on Earth in a year + a 140-acre data center.
But the human brain itself can hold up to ~2.5 million gigabytes of information - enough for ~3 million hours of HD video or 342 years of continuous viewing.
It can process roughly 10 quadrillion calculations per second - enough processing power to run over 4,000 high-end gaming PCs all operating at peak ability.
And it only runs on the amount of power needed for a single dim light bulb.
No technology even comes close to doing what the brain can do.
The more we learn about biology, the more complex it becomes.
This is God's Glory on display.

@JennMGreenberg Would your God approve of your intentional mishandling of what I said to advance your belief? Of course facts and truth exist. You have just chosen replacement facts and truths to support your belief in your preferred world.
English

@Tokamak31 If you don’t believe that facts or truth exist, any conversation about pet much anything is pointless, so why are you here?
English

Because they contradict each other and are fundamentally different. Different gods. Different morals. Different values. Different intentions.
This is like asking, “Why can’t all colors be purple?” It doesn’t even make any sense.

Why can't all religions be true?

I find this a curious assertion, because anyone interested in studying the Bible can see with their own eyes its historical accuracy, lack of contradiction, and the remarkable track record of prophecy being fulfilled. Had it been corrupted, it wouldn't hold up so well to scrutiny

If you ask a Protestant how they know the Bible isn’t corrupted, they can’t answer this properly without appealing to authority and tradition

And this is a classic case of special pleading. You invent a being, without evidence, that can do what nothing else can do for no apparent reason.
If God can be uncreated, then so can the Universe itself.
Martin@MartinTweats
The question presupposes that God is created rather than uncreated. If God is created, then it leads to the question who made God, and who made the thing that made God, and who made the thing that made the thing that made God ad infinitum. It collapses into an infinite regress
English

@darwintojesus We see what we want to see and if we want to see God we see God.

@PaulRieckhoff @RadioFreeTom Straight up NPD. It filters everything he thinks, does and says. You couldn’t pick a more unfit person for the Presidency.

Trump: We lost 13 people. In other wars, you lost hundreds of thousands of people. I get a kick when I look at somebody on television and they say, 'he's lost 13 people.'

Hey, Daddy Gang: Alex Cooper is lying to you.
Cooper just announced her pregnancy. We love that for her.
But, what she doesn’t admit is: for most women, pursuing the promiscuity she promotes won’t end in a marriage proposal. The result isn’t a beautiful wedding and a pregnancy announcement. It’s STDs and a broken heart. It’s a crisis at 35 when you realize that your fertility window is closing and there are no prospective fathers on the horizon.
Cooper was able to rich-and-famous her way out of that consequence, but most of her audience won’t have that ability.
Alex Cooper hasn’t actually bought what she’s selling. She’s made millions convincing women of the benefits of one night stands, while she’s abandoned that lifestyle for the more traditional—and fulfilling—route.
If you’ve already been sold on Cooper’s empty promises and have regrets, you are not without hope and you are not beyond redemption. But if you’re a young woman who’s just begun taking Alex’s life advice, here’s my warning to you:
