I find it amazing that, despite being one of the most aesthetically pleasing footballers ever, Messi has never based his game on aesthetics or intentionally tried to look aesthetically pleasing. He’s all about decisiveness, the aesthetics just come naturally, without him even trying.

Only legitimate criticism I can give Flick is his treatment of Roony. Kid is clearly supremely talented, calm under pressure and very ready for this level. Giving him 5 minutes to save your season after not playing him for 2 months is an insult. More of him next season please.
