AFMA, State Land, and @BuckeyeAZFire are on scene of a brush fire near 313th Ave and Baseline Rd. Crews are working to contain the nearly 20 acre fire with a focus on air support. No injuries have been reported. Some homes are threatened but no evacuations have been made.

Firefighters from @PHXFire & @TollesonFire are working a lumber yard fire near 59th Ave and Van Buren St. The PIO is on the scene and will have an update soon.

Firefighters from Phoenix and Tolleson make a great stop on a garage fire near 75th Ave & McDowell Rd. Quick action from both departments contributed to a quick knockdown of the fire, preventing any extension into the interior of the home.

We are pleased to announce the addition of three new firefighters. From left, Roberto Palofox, Jacob Paige, and Austin Hoyt, Jacob Paige completed a rigorous training program and are now ready to serve and protect the citizens of Tolleson.
