Life expectancy and healthcare is not as related as some would like to believe.
This is simply confirmation bias and cope for people who dislike the US.
In reality, it's incredible how we keep unhealthy Americans alive as long as we do.

I hate high taxes, but why anyone would die on the hill defending the U.S. healthcare system is beyond my understanding. You can't find a system anywhere on Earth that delivers worse value for money. Incredibly expensive. Mediocre outcome.

I got into digital marketing when websites were simpler, Google Ads was still called AdWords, and Facebook Ads barely existed. Somehow, the industry and I got old together.
Now I’m a bit of a dinosaur in a young man’s game, but I’m grateful I get to pass down what I’ve learned. The websites change. The platforms change. The fundamentals of getting attention, earning trust, and generating business really don’t.

@i_mika_el I think a lot of them are niche-specific. Companies will make a basic CRM and add a few features to make it niche-specific and charge $500-$1,000 a month. That’s what people are getting away from.

It always makes me laugh when naive US leftists talk about "free healthcare" in Denmark. You pay a 60% top income tax rate and then 25% VAT when you want to buy anything. You can barely afford anything and then wait four months for a specialist appointment. Nothing is free.

What happened at @startupfest yesterday was antisemitism. Pure & simple. Disguised under a thin veil of advocacy, and everyone in the room saw right through it. I was on stage with Georges St-Pierre talking about entrepreneurship. Not politics. A man burst in screaming horrible accusations at me anyway. Third time in 2 years, including at the opening of a Jewish community centre. My parents were in the front row. I'll never forget their faces. When the target is always the Jew and never the topic, it's not advocacy. It's hate. The room booed him down and cheered as he was walked out. I'm grateful for that. Hate got escorted out. We got right back to building.
