Hudson County celebrated Portugal Day with a flag raising ceremony at the Brennan Courthouse. 🇵🇹

I proudly remember raising the flag as County Executive for the first time in 2003 I stand connected with our LGBTQ+ community.

On this Memorial Day we honor those in our military who have given their all to ensure our freedoms. Their patriotism, commitment and valor deserve our utmost respect and tremendous gratitude.

On Memorial Day we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.  We also take this opportunity to show our appreciation for Hudson county veterans and service members – and their loved ones – who sacrifice so much to keep us safe at home and abroad.

I know that you join me in disbelief over the senseless violence at the school shooting in Texas yesterday Our prayers go out to the families and community.
