BREAKING: The Washington Post wins Pulitzer for public service for its reporting on DOGE and its impact, including reporter Hannah Natanson who was at the center of the team effort.

Congratulations to @jkbjournalist who was awarded a “special citation” by the Pulitzer board today. So well deserved.

The @PulitzerPrizes decision to award @jkbjournalist a special citation for work she did exposing Epstein a decade ago is an unusual acknowledgment that the Pulitzer Board messed up badly when they ignored her work in the first place after a pressure campaign by Dersh etc.

Julie K. Brown wins a Pulitzer special citation for exposing Epstein’s systematic abuse, the justice system that protected him, and the network around him. Her reporting broke the story open years ago, which is still unfolding today.

I missed Bierstadt on Saturday, so I'm posting this on Sunday to seek forgiveness! Behold, "California Spring", 1875. This photo shows the Sacramento Valley as seen from the surrounding foothills. Biersadt is best known for his dramatic, towering cliff- or mountain-paintings, while these pastoral scenes are a little less well-known.
