Alex Cora has won 90 games only once since the 2018 World Series season. That was 5 years ago. His winning percentage since that 2018 season: .514. His winning percentage including that season: .536. Grady Little's was .580. Tito's was .574. John Farrell's was .533, but he won a World Series and 3 AL East titles in 5 years (including back to back the two seasons before Cora was hired). ...and he was fired anyway. It didn't just hit me, Lou. What hit me is that nobody talks about this. At all. And it's weird.

It just hit me. Maybe the best way to describe Red Sox fans to others. Sox fans want the Sox to win 90 games and make the playoffs but feel that losing 72 games is absolutely unacceptable
