@bluestein Action Jackson’s actions paint a different picture from what he says in the ads he has flooded Georgians with on TV and in the mail. And sometimes he even slips up on the campaign trail and actually tells the truth, like so ⬇️

A landscaper is fighting in court for benefits after being hurt on the estate of one of Georgia’s leading Republican candidates for governor, in a case that’s become a political lightning rod on the campaign trail. #gapol ajc.com/news/2026/05/a…

@hey_brock222 @DavidShafer Do you not know what is created when the Governor signs a bill? Do you think the Governor had no say in drawing the map? It’s documented that the maps were actually drawn in Gov Barnes’ office rather than by the redistricting committee or the Georgia reapportionment office.

This was how the Democrats drew Georgia's then 13 congressional districts when they controlled the Governor's office and General Assembly. I do not want to hear the word "gerrymandering" from anyone who wants to put them back in power.

@hey_brock222 @DavidShafer He literally signed the bill creating that map. Do you not understand how the process of creating the district boundaries works? Apparently you don’t if you think Roy Barnes didn’t create anything.

@hey_brock222 @DavidShafer I can’t help you if you don’t see the difference between and history of that Democrat Governor’s role in creating outrageously gerrymandered maps and a few state reps that eventually switched parties. Don’t be dense.

@hey_brock222 @DavidShafer The map was so badly gerrymandered it could not withstand judicial scrutiny. But you’re moving the goalposts now. That map was created by a Dem Governor and Dem Legislature, and you said it wasn’t.

@hey_brock222 @DavidShafer A federal judge actually created the map after the Dem map of 2002 had to be taken to court. Your point is irrelevant regardless. You act like Dems are innocent and Republicans are not, and that view is misguided and revisionist history.

@TomKirklan90567 @DavidShafer Not only that the map in question was thrown out! So still this tweet is irrelevant. The new map was voted in by Purdue Republicans!

@hey_brock222 @DavidShafer Good grief. The f’ing Governor of Georgia in 2002 who authorized the map represents Fani Willis, Jen Jordan, and ShaMiracle Rankin in various legal cases! What are you talking about?

The Georgia governor’s race is ending the way it’s unfolded for months. Loud, expensive and deeply personal. The closing TV ads from the top contenders sharpen the arguments they’ve been making all along. #gapol

@hey_brock222 @DavidShafer A simple google search is really all you had to do. Lots of articles about how Roy Barnes and the Dem controlled legislature went about passing that map. Even Wikipedia discusses the 2002 map.

@packrfan4 @DavidShafer @1sxk1 @braves_dawgs A federal independent commission - those are never full of highly partisan people clothed as nonpartisan bureaucrats 🤦‍♂️. E.g. politicized hiring in the Obama DOJ Civil Rights Division in the career civil service ranks. Full of far left politicos clothed as do-good bureaucrats.

@TomKirklan90567 @DavidShafer @1sxk1 @braves_dawgs You make it seem like this is a one party thing. Both sides are doing and our corrupt SCOTUS has blessed it. It's clear to me that a Federal independent commission will need to be created or partisan gerrymandering will continue everywhere and it will only get worse.

@bluestein Amazing that Democrat lawyers aren’t speaking up about what their party and candidates (Jordan , Rankin, Wooten et al) are doing in the judicial races. Many object to it privately. The Dems have crossed the rubicon and are to blame when the judiciary is politicized in the future.

Trump’s 2020 defeat is not a faded memory in Georgia. It is a campaign issue for some and a litmus test for others ahead of the primary. In some corners of the GOP electorate, loyalty to Trump’s version of 2020 could become a means of political survival. ajc.com/politics/2026/…

@Snarkage1 @DavidShafer You seem to miss the point. But whatever you need to do to rationalize the fact that your party gerrymandered the maps in a very egregious manner. Republican maps don’t look like a Jackson Pollock painting like the Dem maps.

@DavidShafer @1sxk1 @braves_dawgs Buddy, it’s apparent that you have missed the point. Have you looked at how gerrymandered that map is? It looks like a Jackson Pollock painting. The party crying about maps is the one who did that map - to suppress Republican voters. You all are hypocrites.

@1sxk1 @braves_dawgs Of course they still exist. Governor Roy Barnes is alive, well and filing lawsuits on behalf for the Democratic Party. Senator Nan Orrock was in the House Democratic Leadership then and the Senate Democratic Leadership now.

If you haven't voted yet,and you live in Georgia, please please do research on Rick Jackson. He is not what he is portrayed as. He is in with Mike Pence and the Bushes. He is not going do do what you think he will. Georgia has had enough. Burt Jones is not perfect. He is better than the rest. Just saying.

@AVK_III @HollyKesler @bluestein Rick looks frail. I had no idea his campaign manager is gay. It now all makes sense why they’re so sensitive and block people on social media rather than respond.

Sorry I couldn’t stick around today, Rick! Actually I could have stuck around. You asked me to leave a public place. I didn’t have to do that. As I told the little guy working the sign in page, I wasn’t there to cause trouble. How many showed up? 30 tops?? And of the 30, how many were staffers and bused in? $100 mil and all you can draw is 30 people? 🤣🤣

@PhoenixLion15 @bwhizzerwhite @aakbak06 @PollTracker2024 Good grief. Perfect example of one of the problems with the world today. People have fried their brains and know nothing, and that’s how the Jen Jordan’s and ShaMiracle’s get elected to the Georgia Supreme Court over intelligent, good judges who understand how the law works.
