@KapustaPirohy @concertleaks Wallen butchered the song with his version. As he does with every “song” he is given to put out.
English

@concertleaks Isbell's only claim to fame is that he wrote a song that Morgan Wallen made famous

@whatsundersteer @jzilisch1 So you know better than his dad?
English

@jzilisch1 Heres Connor confirming x rays were clear after dega wreck in the infield.
Here’s Connor giving a confusing response about his “injuries” at Texas.
Here’s Connor walking up a ladder at Texas.
Also, here’s a picture of him at the f1 race a day after Texas.

@TomLittle91 @shrimp3y @WillChampagne6 @kp556x45 I think economic shifts are raising luxury goods/collectibles & houses. The top 10% now do 50% of all the consumer spending. Wealth concentration is making rich ppl stuff more expensive.
English

No you don't. You want a car that's 5% computer because you don't know how much of your car is actually computer

@TomLittle91 @kp556x45 I’m not a classic car guy, more of a tuner car guy myself so I’ve flashed ECUs multiple times in my life. The fact a file can give my GTI 100+ hp is pretty cool imo, but some tech in cars result in faster, more fun, and better ride, but there’s a line we’ve passed with it
English

@CraigMak2 @shrimp3y @WillChampagne6 @kp556x45 It’s insane looking at the value of things now. Even my 91 Camaro is getting to be worth more than I would’ve thought it’s ceiling would be
English

@TomLittle91 @shrimp3y @WillChampagne6 @kp556x45 Yeah, absolute unicorn car. The time to buy one of those was 2010 after the recession. I remember seeing them around $25k, NSX for $30k & Porsche 996 for $20k. Everything was so cheap. A Rolex Submariner & GMT was $3,200 too. What a time for deals.
English

@TomLittle91 @shrimp3y @WillChampagne6 @kp556x45 I wouldn’t even say I like modern cars. Just being factual. I’d rather drive my old e46 M3 manual or e30 M3 or original NSX. Everything feels like a barge now. New M3/M4 is too big. Even the M2 is big. But I couldn’t keep replacing everything. Had my M3 for 17 years 170k miles
English

@CraigMak2 @shrimp3y @WillChampagne6 @kp556x45 It’s hard to be a Lexus reliability wise. Even by the early 90s Toyota had longevity more or less figured out
English

@TomLittle91 @shrimp3y @WillChampagne6 @kp556x45 I’d love to pick up something like an S2000 for the fun & relative reliability. But my next car will be a Lexus IS for reliability. My brother has the V8 IS 500. It’s nice but still feels heavy. Same engine as the LC 500.
English

@Clifffoxx @kp556x45 The dash clock went missing before I got mine sadly. They’re such neat cars
English

@TomLittle91 @kp556x45 Got a P-17 flathead 218 (original blew up). Still 6V posi-ground, R10 Overdrive, factory radio and dash clock. Its a great daily driver
English

@CraigMak2 @WillChampagne6 @shrimp3y @kp556x45 Arguing reliable sources then pulls up Wikipedia lol. Anyways I’m gonna go hang out with my son. Good talking to you
English

@CraigMak2 @shrimp3y @WillChampagne6 @kp556x45 You’re also obviously biased. Which is fine there’s nothing wrong with liking modern cars. However there is also nothing wrong with liking older cars.
English

@TomLittle91 @shrimp3y @WillChampagne6 @kp556x45 What you see isn’t a statistic, it’s an anecdote that’s also probably tainted by bias.
English

@CraigMak2 @WillChampagne6 @shrimp3y @kp556x45 The Chevy 350 and ford 302 are also super reliable engines that don’t have to rely on modern technology. There’s tons of evidence if you seek it out
English

@TomLittle91 @WillChampagne6 @shrimp3y @kp556x45 You’re presenting an anecdote to disprove a statistical fact. You found one car in a million to disprove a fact. Anecdotes are not evidence. Same logic that antivaxers use. I didn’t die so nobody died…
English

@CraigMak2 @WillChampagne6 @shrimp3y @kp556x45 Comparing two totally unrelated things. The simplicity of those cars is what has made that engine last. The military used that exact engine well into the 1980s because of how reliable they were. I’ve also seen many newer vehicles dead before 50k miles.
English

@shrimp3y @WillChampagne6 @CraigMak2 @kp556x45 And I’ve seen many new cars with blown engines before 50k miles. It’s really just all in what you prefer
English

@TomLittle91 @WillChampagne6 @CraigMak2 @kp556x45 And what’s a good condition one like that run now, 20k+? They’re expensive because not many survived
English

@CraigMak2 @kp556x45 Yes all those things are stupid. But from someone who has gotten a lot of reliability out of these older cars I can attest to the fact that they aren’t as bad as you make them out to be.
English

@TomLittle91 @kp556x45 Saying things that are objectively false is not a point of view. This platform is full of the dumbest shit ever from eating all meat is good for you to viruses don’t exist to the earth is flat. Lots of overlap between those dumb asses & ppl who think older cars were reliable.
English

@CraigMak2 @WillChampagne6 @shrimp3y @kp556x45 Yeah that’s not the case with this one. But yeah modern bmw’s are known for their engine troubles
English

@TomLittle91 @WillChampagne6 @shrimp3y @kp556x45 The maintenance: replacing every part & doing an engine rebuild… Yeah, I got my BMW M3 up to 170k miles with “maintenance”, that doesn’t make it reliable. I replaced damn near everything but the engine.
