Wilfried Zaha was a maverick attacker, he was one of the main reasons why we weren’t relegated in the first 6-7 years following on from promotion in 2013. The point being made was a stylistic one, Glasner appears to have once again decided to dig the club as a whole out.

@BobbyManzi Tried being patient with him, but he has generally been awful. No excuse for the consistently poor set pieces, corners especially. Gives the ball away cheaply too often. We need a run of games of JSL, Sarr and Guessand as the front 3 and our form will start picking up.

Fully understand Glasner’s transfer complaints. Who exactly is going to generate the good technical plays that Olise then Eze were with an attacking selection of Brennan, Pino, Sarr, Guessand, Nketiah, Strand Larsen. Every single one of them are finishers of moves not playmakers.

Surely you don’t just become useless overnight. Ebere Eze was such a baller for Crystal Palace. What’s going wrong for him?

@henryswainjourn Sarr, Strand Larsen and Guessand are clearly our best front three. We lacked cohesion once Pino and Brennan Johnson came on. Need to give those three a proper run of games together.

Thoughts: Strand Larsen the only one who can hold his head high after that. Pino and Johnson may as well have stayed on the bench, so bad, Guessand offered much more than either of them. Defending was comical, Richards had an especially poor game, his passing was so off the pace. Taking Munoz off was stupid. He was the only outlet for us, and you replace him with a BJ who can’t finish. No game plan whatsoever, just lump balls into the box and hope for the best. Glasner is just not that good is he. Ref was also really poor, how he didn’t blow for a few of the late tackles. Lightweight, soft, shit performance and an awful result. #cpfc
