One of the most moving meetings I have experienced in recent years. We heard many stories, sad and moving, funny and depressing. A combination of crying and laughing and above all understanding how much their spirit won and how much we must bring everyone home! At one point, Karina and Naama realized that I knew Gaza intimately and spoke Arabic and asked to chatter in Arabic so that I could practice the language. They know Arabic fluently and do not want to forget, and that is how I heard more in Arabic about the captivity in Gaza. Naama and Karina, and the other abductees, are an example of heroism, of courage, of the triumph of the spirit”.
