@MitchVingle As a conservative who is the only one in my family and who worked with multiple progressives, I just don't talk politics, treat people with respect and am treated with respect in return. Because we disagree on issues does not make us horrible people.

@Tom_72454 I think you’re overshooting but I hope. If you’re a Democrat/liberal in a blood red state you certainly feel the tension. If you’re a Pub, yeah, all good. But 🤞

SICK Michigan Democrat Mallory McMorrow compares the Trump administration to Nazi Germany:   CNN: “Do you personally see parallels between Nazi Germany and what’s happening under the Trump administration?”   MCMORROW: “Yeah, I do.”

Gregory Soto does the job. What a day for Braxton Ashcraft: 7.2 IP, 4 H, 2 BB, 6 K, 82-56, 10 whiffs, ERA down to 3.02. Need some runs.

What cost those two seats were the conspiracy theories and professional victims who continue to suffer delusions about 2020 and convinced voters that participating in the runoff wasn’t worth it. What we have here arw a group of conservative activists who, like much of the Left, enjoys being victims. They would rather still complain about 2020 than try to win elections and can scream that their incompetence was someone else’s theft. At the end of the day it was incompetence from the right, but instead of admitting it, they’d rather blame Brian Kemp for not going along with their nonsense.
Cleta Mitchell@CletaMitchell

Nope. David Shafer is a hero and was in 2020. What cost GA those 2 Senate seats was the failure of Gov Kemp, Lt Gov Duncan, SOS Raffensperger and AG Carr to step up and DO something about the 2020 unlawful mess of an election. Do you remember, Erick, how you defended Raffensperger and Fulton County illegally restarting counting ballots after they ran the observers and the media out of State Farm Arena on election night? Raffensperger said “they weren’t tabulating…they were just getting ready for the next day….” The tape clearly showed that was a lie. But you repeated it. The next explanation from Raffensperger was that officials were there watching the counting (that Raffensperger and you said didn’t happen) the entire time. Again, the video clearly showed that ALSO wasn’t true. So then Raffensperger went on 60 Minutes and said the Trump people “altered” the videotape. Also a lie. Raffensperger never met a lie he wasn’t willing to spout. And you helped him. You defended their fecklessness. That’s what cost GA 2 Senate seats. Cheating and then lying / covering up. It was not David Shafer. He was and is a hero. You should have been helping him. But you -like others in GA GOP - were not in favor of Pres Trump in 2016 and never really came around. Sadly. That’s what cost GA its two Senate seats.

@JeffStorobinsky @ScottJenningsKY @adammocklerr I agree completely. There are plenty of thought-provoking Libs (Axelrod, Simmons, etc) that provide great value vs those that go for the dramatic. Sadly, Abby's show rarely has that.

****My Take on Scott Jennings and Adam Mockler **** I did not watch Newsnight last night but I was inundated with links to the @ScottJenningsKY @adammocklerr clip almost immediately First, News Night prides itself with its opening of "Americans with different perspectives aren't talking to each other but here they do" No, they are yelling at each other. @abbydphillip is a consummate professional but she's in a difficult situation. First, Adam did not have his hand in Scott's face and Scott's cursing was entirely unprofessional and totally uncalled for. Scott was totally wrong here and embarrassed CNN and the brand. 1099'd contributors are expendable, just ask Rick Santorum I have known Scott for a few years and he has a megaphone most contributors or even politicians don't have. It should not be abused, he abused it I saw Scott on Sunday at the CNN venue at the British embassy and we spoke for awhile. A picture was then taken which I later posted to my feed. Within moments of its posting I lost a friend of many years who basically texted me that our friendship was over because of me posting that photo. That's not the point, the point is the continuing division Trump world and MAGA has caused A friend of mine in the business told me today that Scott should have played off Adam's talking points with a comment like "Isn't it past your bedtime Kid"? Adam is an extremely intelligent young man possessing skills many young folks his age don't have, for that matter that goes for folks 2 or 3 times his age I will not defend Scott here, it can't be done. No spin can erase the horrible optics. He was embarrassingly wrong and unprofessional, very. Personally, knowing him and having called him a friend I am disappointed. Will CNN fire him? No, they won't. Will he apologize? I would say no way on earth since liberals would seize the moment of him caving to public pressure Can this be a watershed moment where Newsnight and Scott reflect? I don't know but I hope so Regardless I am very, very disappointed in Scott Jennings and hope he takes this time to rehabilitate his image because personally, he let me down I also believe that people can change. Not all leopards are the same, some are capable of changing their spots
Acyn@Acyn

Wow Scott Jennings blows up at Adam Mockler: “Get your fucking hand out of my face” Mockler: We all know that Scott Jennings is more than happy to defend a war with a country that starts with letters Ira that we are currently failing that is going to put us trillions and trillions of dollars more in debt. I was only a few years old while you were in the administration defending prior endless wars.

@theFortMcKenry @Bucs_fan1963 Respectfully disagree sir. Right now the winners from the cap are the Top 5% of the players. Put a cap and floor in place while increasing the pre-arb salaries for the younger players and provide some incentive to raise salaries for experienced players similar to the NBA. Thanks

I do believe we need a floor I don’t see how a cap helps. (380M for the dodgers payroll right now) If even the cap was 250 most teams wouldn’t get there. I think incentives from MLB to keep Guys like Skenes Cutch and Franchise type players in the same organization is a great step. No clue how but that would be one thing that would help. Also would love the smaller markets to be able to trade for Draft picks. Could you imagine getting three extra first round draft picks and we hit like we have the last three. That would be 6 impact players immediately. All in all I just want what’s best for the fans and the game. Not a fight. The game is in a good place make it better creatively and make it as engaging and open as possible for the fans

There are literal boomers in the comments saying if the government had less tax revenue they wouldn’t have money to spend 🫩 you can’t make this up. If that were true then why have we had a budget deficit every year since 2002. You can’t reason with boomers or libertarians

@colin_beazley Colin, the RISP is the biggest problem. Do you know how many of those RISP at-bats ended in strikeout? I am betting it was over half. Not putting the ball in play is a significant issue right now.
