Sorry, correction. I spelt Ulster Scots & Ulster Scots Agency wrang. Who knew that the DUP were opposed to all indigenous languages 🤷 If Scots/Ulster-Scots are not given the platform to be heard and seen, it will never fully get the respect a minority language deserves

Got called petty tonight for asking that Council insist that An Ghaeilge is used at a Foras na Gaeilge event that we are being asked to fund from our Language Strategy Action Plan. Who knew the DUP were opposed to the promotion of an indigenous language?

It comes after Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer indicated there may be new protections for military veterans added to the Northern Ireland Troubles Bill.
