ATP 🎾 Daniil Medvedev ML (2%) I’ve backed Medvedev every single outing in Dubai and he’s been sensational. He’s lived up to the expectations in these conditions and has shown glimpses of his past dominant self. I don’t like Felix Auger-Aliassime against this version of Medvedev. First off all, Felix has played a shit ton of tennis. In this month alone he’s picked up a title indoors and a finals at Rotterdam. There’s definitely fatigue running through FAA’s body and Medvedev is a player who can really test FAA. If we’re being honest, FAA has played Zhang, Perricard, and Lehecka. Three players who just don’t possess strong returning numbers. Very easy and expected holds for FAA in these matches. Medvedev is a strong returner and will make FAA work harder than he’s had so far. So far this year, Medvedev has seen an increase in his return numbers from his 52 week average, so a very red hot Medvedev is going to be hungry against a player he’s defeated 7 times. Medvedev in Dubai has landed the first serve very effectively and has been dominant winning 77% of those points. FAA doesn’t possess strong return numbers in quick outdoor conditions, creating strong upside on Medvedev to hold efficiently. Medvedev is a problem for FAA in these conditions largely because Medvedev plays deep, covers the court effectively, and is elite in baseline exchanges. If Medvedev is going to dominate this match, he needs to force extra balls and target the FAA backhand. This feels like a match where Medvedev can wear FAA down and let sluggishness take over and errors to start spraying from FAA.

ATP 🎾 Flavio Cobolli +3.5 (1.5%) Yeah Cobolli has been hot ass, but Sebastian Korda priced at -330 in Florida is just retarded. Clear skies today and dryer conditions overall, so expecting courts to play generally faster, thus favoring Korda, but still, the price is mind boggling. He’s not Superman. Cobolli has had himself a solid week and should be coming into this match pretty confident. It largely comes down to if he can serve. It’s still a weakness. It’ll be uncompetitive if Cobolli is just feeding Korda seconds.
