@AlphajorbaBah @KevinCole625113 The intention of protesters was good although it unfortunately took 13 lives (Kenyan hasnthe highiest tax rate in sub-Saharan Africa and wanted to increase and expand tax. It was not a violent demostration/protest to bring regieme as it was in Sierra leone on many occasions.

Considering the enormity of the riot in Kenya to Sierra Leone, you'll see that the level of force used in Sierra Leone is way disproportionate to that of the force used in Kenya. The Kenyan Parliament was overwhelmed with protesters, and it was put on fire, yet still, the casualties in Sierra Leone's little protest outnumbered those in Kenya.

Driving around and seeing videos on social media clearly shows how filthy Freetown is from the East, Central, and West. It looks like the much talked about Transform Freetown is more of a blueprint for Mayor @yakisawyerr Aki-Sawyer to be traveling and presenting fancy ideas to other clean and growing cities than what she's doing back home. Please, Madam Mayor, stay home to clean up and beautify our city for God's sake. That's not too much to ask for. I am sure you always see those concrete boxes in the middle of Wilkinson Road up to Congo Cross. They've been there for too long with no value. Clear them up, please. According to @UNDP 2023-2024 Human Development Index Sierra Leone ranks 184th out of 193 countries scoring 0.458. As citizens we only need to look around us to know where we are as a nation and it goes without saying that we are lagging behind in many areas.The realities we see and feel on the ground are more credible than any score that the UN Development index or the MCC can ever give us. And most importantly from where we are standing in history today, especially in light of the live atrocities in Palestine which continues to bewilder and sicken the world, under the very watch of the UN and with the endorsement of the veto powers of powerful countries in the Security Council, be it the UN or its agencies or the MCC, they have all cancelled and stripped themselves of the right to assume the high ground to pass judgements on other countries and giving scores.They are no longer well positioned to do so.Not now not in the foreseeable future.And I dare say if there’s an index or scorecard for human decency and moral development,these organisations and the powerful countries behind them will score 0.00. #UN #UNDP #MCC #Securitycouncil #PalestineGenocide

ACC INDICTMENT UPDATE: Eastern Technical University (ETU) Financial Officer indicted on 26 Counts for Misappropriation of Public Funds. He ran a scheme whereby money collected from students were applied for his personal use and not reflected in University accounts. He had made full confession to the effect.
