@tsi2028 @JWReamer We had an issue with Indy this weekend. The site hosting @NxtProHoops charged for parking, not the circuit. Not only did they charge $10 day, but no in and out privileges! People were ticked. We walked to the gas station across the street for snacks. Venue wanted $5 for Powerade

This past weekend at Grassroots Showcase in Louisville. $75 weekend pass. Also had to pay $15 per day to park. Each team was required to provide a scorekeeper & they did not get in free. They had to pay $75 to work the games. @JWReamer Family friendly pricing grade: F

@tsi2028 @JWReamer Puma events. Parking ranges from $10-$25 a day.

@trigonis30 An issue we ran into last year was Puma was in Indy but the Indy 500 was the same weekend. Plenty of rooms available but hotels jacked up their prices so even stay to play wasn’t cheap. Thankfully we used CC points but a TRU hotel by Hilton would have been over $400 a night.

Legit Question becomes for any event organizers: are you considering conflicts with any other events that will be in your same city during live periods that create issues with availability & AFFORDABILITY of hotel rooms?

@trigonis30 No offense, but you’re just wrong. @nxtprohoops tourneys are not a “JV festival”. There’s more than a handful of solid teams without a doubt. Are there some bad teams? Yes, some that think they belong but they don’t. But to make the JV festival statement is flat out crazy to say.

Brandon: I know you get paid good money to toe the NXT Pro corporate line but outside of your handful of solid teams (many of those that have just 1 or 2 relevant players) its a JV Festival. Too bad you being on the "Puma" payroll prevents you from being honest about it

Alcoa-Fulton... 18 miles apart... not in same District/Region or Sectional yet have drives double that distance in their current districts.

@EastTNAir Cookeville boys & Beech had 57 fouls called at substate. 😂 Probably had double-digit carries called and just as many travels too. Not sure why some refs change everything up when the games have more on the line. Cookeville’s girls 1st state game had 49 total I think? Just odd.

WTH!?? That’s crazy. See why does this happen at a state tourney so often!?!?

@joe_spears7 @PHSLadyBBSB Did I read the box score right that 49 fouls were called? I know @U_C_Reporter said there were 18 fouls called in the first half and at one point, 18 called in the 3rd quarter alone. What’s up with the refs being so whistle happy lately?

@sports_bk @BeechHoops Worst officiated game I’ve ever seen. To see 57 fouls called, as well as multiple carries and travels, made the game about the refs and not the two teams. Just sad to see a game deciding who goes to state be officiated like that.
