i used to run my writing through Claude to improve it.
that turned out to be a bad idea.😅
it would come back cleaner, sure. but it didn’t sound like me anymore.
same rhythm, same structure, same empty polish every time.
took me a while to realize the problem wasn’t what i was asking Claude to do.
it was that Claude had no idea what “sounding human” meant for me specifically.
then i found a skill on GitHub called Humanizer.
it checks for 29 patterns that make writing sound like AI wrote it, then helps clean them out.
the setup is pretty simple:
search “blader/humanizer” on Google and open the GitHub page
> click the green Code button, download the ZIP and extract it
> go to claude .ai or the Claude app
> click Customize, then Skills
> create a new skill, upload the file, save
> paste your draft and use it before you post.
it didn’t make the writing perfect.
it just helped my writing sound like me again.
