@SteelWoolStudio yeah ok. this is the second time we've received a last-second delay. this is completely unacceptable, and I've lost a significant amount of trust in this company, this franchise, and this project.
Hey all! To continue our commitment to provide more communication to the community, we wanted to give an update on the Secret of the Mimic PC VR launch. Here’s the plan as of today, barring any pesky 1’s or 0’s acting up out of nowhere!
PC VR is currently planned for the middle of next week. We’re finalizing a patch for a pesky issue related to SteamVR framerate overrides, and our QA team is currently confirming the fix.
For a little inside info: whenever we have a new build to test, our internal QA team has to run a full test sweep, which takes days. We don’t just test the things that were patched, we also make sure we didn’t accidentally introduce some new wonkiness elsewhere.
For this title, testing is a little extra spicy because we functionally have two different versions of the game: Flat Mode and VR. That means QA has to test both independently.
Once PC VR launches, we’re planning to release the PlayStation VR2 patch as soon as possible so we can maintain parity between both platforms.
Thanks for the patience!
Hey all! We promised we would be better about communication moving forward and we want to live up to that. We have decided that we are going to hold back PCVR a LITTLE bit longer. Instead of launching it and then doing a quick turnaround patch (our original plan), we are going to roll in the patch fixes and updates directly to the PCVR launch build. We are also going to incorporate fixes to some of the main issues we’re seeing in the current community playthroughs.
Our goal is to launch a higher quality PCVR edition and then patch the PSVR 2 version so there is complete parity between the two platforms. We are working hard with our porting partners at Devoted Studios with the goal of getting the PCVR launch and PSVR 2 patch ready within the next 2 weeks!
We know it's frustrating when it appears that we aren't communicating and that can come across as if we’re not paying attention. That cannot be farther from the truth. We take this community very seriously because the community is what makes everything we do worthwhile. While I wish we could always be perfect, we do always strive to do better!

@SteelWoolStudio Can everyone please be respectful, I get that it’s frustrating but at least it’s being fixed. Like give steelwool a break, it’s a couple more days.
Hi all! We see there is some confusion about the Five Night at Freddy's Secret of the Mimic VR launch today and we want to clarify everything.
We launched our PlayStation PSVR 2 update today. We are currently testing the launch build for our PCVR version via Steam.
We are expecting to approve and launch the PCVR build in the next day or two and we will announce the second our team certifies it. For a little behind the scenes, the current testing is at 99.01% as of the time of this post!
Our blog also has notes on our Patch 1 for PSVR 2, that will also be applied to the PCVR version as well. Sorry if there was any confusion! We will make sure to be much more clear moving forward!

More theatres added! Due to the huge overwhelming demand and tickets selling out fast, we're expanding to Mexico AND getting more screening times/dates in US theatres. Pre-sale tickets should be announced early next week.
We're also currently in talks with more international theatres, your messages and emails are getting through!! More updates this coming week!
Following questions about "Forgotten Names and Faces".
It was supposed to be a musical project, inspired by old FNAF soundtracks.
The first track, was supposed to have a variation section from "Gracefully into the Abyss".
As mentioned before, that project won’t be happening. Apparently, the name “Abyss” spread across the fandom, even though it wasn’t planned, and I see that it still pops up here and there.
My musical collaboration with the “nameless” fan game started a few months ago. Until now, it hasn’t had an official name.......
@FNAFSOTM Nice banner! Unrelated but I think your previous profile picture was better. This one is good but it’s darker and harder to make out until clicking on it. Just my opinion!!
