@MuhamadiMatovu His ideology of house-hold-first development via commercialization of their mindset to understand economics as if it were a logistical problem rather than a domain central problem is the best for African development. That's one of the best things for sure!

@Educ_SportsUg, I would like to volunteer for FREE to develop science AI driven curricula. Some of us are scared, deeply, for what's coming is huge if we don't properly position our selves.
MELANIA TRUMP@MELANIATRUMP

KNOWLEDGE IS THE FOUNDATION OF AMERICAN CIVILIZATION   Only 22% of America’s 12th-graders are proficient in mathematics and only 35% in reading, according to NAEP’s 2024 national sampling.  Our nation’s average scores have reached their lowest levels in 20 years.   America must strive to improve.  Today, we can take proactive steps to enhance our children’s academic growth by leveraging AI as a tool in the education process.     Our teachers are already embracing the use of AI to improve K-12 academic performance.  2,700 schools participated in the K-12 AI Workshop I hosted with Zoom Communications on January 16, 2026.  The White House Presidential AI Challenge (K-12) has participants from all 50 states, plus Puerto Rico and Washington DC.      Access to the classical studies is now instantaneous, because of AI - literature, science, art, philosophy, mathematics, and history - Humanity’s entire corpus of information is available in the comfort of your home.     AI provides a personalized experience, adaptive to the needs of each student.  Our children can develop deeper critical thinking and independent reasoning abilities, plus boost their analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities by using AI as a tool.   The biproduct - a more well-rounded lifestyle for our children – freeing up time for being with friends, family, playing sports, and developing interests beyond school.  But we must balance our tech optimism with caution.  The safety of our next generation is always paramount.   Shouldn’t teachers use AI to deliver the most current, accurate knowledge to your child?  And if private tutoring isn’t an option, shouldn’t technology empower students to strengthen their weaknesses at home?

@jamesonen And again, my argument was motivated by the rate at which AI is developing and world countries positioning themselves. If you hear that Claude Ethol can break any big encryption algos, yet the owners just declared their dislike for Africans recently, then you get worry

@jamesonen Thanks for bringing this up. Most humans believe that culture doesn't evolve and that's where some of your arguments feel helpful even though you come off hard most times! So at our camp we are not just talking about evolution of our culture but developing some solutions!

@OfwonoOpondo @NRMOnline @KagutaMuseveni Mr @OfwonoOpondo is yet to understand the logical equation before taking anything personal. This pattern has a greater likelihood towards a positive sigmoid curve and I agree with all the outcomes from which choices are to be made. The range and domain seem equivalent.

Let me ask you, who didn't fail ALGEBRA. We've been here before with you, remember 1997/98, & later when you fled to US, but returned quietly. What new major constituency, do you see MAO bringing that's beyond @NRMOnline & @KagutaMuseveni independent reach? Who helped reach MAO?
David Sejusa, DM.@sejudav

This SPEAKERSHIP CONTEST is something I have avoided talking about. Mainly because it's been a debate about PERSONALITIES, not IDEOLOGICAL, or POLITICAL Philosophy of Holders. Because it's NRM-O's thing to take, anyway, because of sheer numbers. But the Entry of NOBERT MAO brings in a new INTERESTING DIMENSION. That's why I find it strange that people like @OfwonoOpondo and many others casually dismiss him! See, MAO's candidature brings in TWO MAJOR EQUATIONS: Firstly, he comes with A NEW CONSTITUENCY not within NRM-O. Eg, Hon Among is already NRM-O, but Mao belongs to an outside CONSTITUENCY; the OPPOSITION-forget whether he is yellow/green Orange, etc. In POLITICAL CALCULATIONS, those don't matter much. So what does NRM-O want to do in these 5years? CONSOLIDATION. Which would amount to DIMINISHING FURTHER THE OPPOSITION SPACE. Who will help NRM-O do this best; the one ALREADY IN, or the one OUT and coming in with a CHUNK OF OPPOSITION CONSTITUENCY? Choose for yourself how to answer this.. The SECOND EQUATION is REGIONAL BALANCE. Those dismissing Mao Candidature are poor students of Ugandan History, and Political ALGEBRA👇,🫣! Things could change ofcse, but taking the current status-quo; you have a President from the West, have a new Chief Justice from the West, have a Vice President from the East, and a Speaker from the East, a chief Justice from the North having retired recently....so who is representing the NORTH NOW? Gen Moses Ali? Those who dismiss Mao must have failed their ALGEBRA at school!

Gen. Salim Saleh (born Caleb Akandwanaho’s power stems primarily from his unique relationship with his elder brother, President Yoweri Museveni. He remains one of the most powerful and influential figures in Uganda. Though rarely in the spotlight, his reach cuts across politics, the military, and the economy. Often seen as a behind-the-scenes leader, he is a trusted adviser and key decision-maker within the ruling NRM. As head of Operation Wealth Creation, he controls major government programmes that support farmers and boost incomes. He also holds strong influence in the army and among veterans. His role in shaping national policy, economic direction, and political stability remains significant in 2026.
