🚨 40X WHALE $BTC SHORT UPDATE Position: A massive $30.19M (423 BTC) short on 40x leverage Entry: $71,113. Margin: They were using 100% of their $649,340 equity. There was zero resource left to defend the position Their hard liquidation was sitting right at $71,941 In just under 4 hours, we can already see brutal aftermath: Total equity plummeted from ~$649k down to $305,948 and they lost over half their account value Due to forced deleveraging position size was slashed from 423 to 176 $BTC To avoid a total account wipeout, the trader was forced to either take a massive realized loss (probably cutting size into the pump) or they suffered a partial liquidation Their new average entry of $71,839 means they likely averaged up or re-entered at the local top New liquidation level: $72,676.8 Soon enough market will probably sweep this level and trigger this exact trader's liquidation to fuel a temporary spike
