I had the tremendous opportunity to return to @foxnews earlier today to talk about how conservative activism has been impacted since Charlie Kirk’s death, specifically in Pennsylvania.

In order to own a NY-compliant AR-15 in Nassau County, applicants must submit: Photo ID Birth certificate or passport Naturalization papers (if born outside the US) Passport-size photos Additional proof of residence $200 (cash not accepted) Fingerprints Character references
Chuck Schumer@SenSchumer

MAGA Republicans want to make it harder to vote than to buy an AR-15. They want Americans’ information run through an algorithm designed by Musk and DOGE that could kick eligible voters off the rolls. They want to turn voter registration into a bureaucratic nightmare and limit how people can register. That’s the SAVE Act, and that's why Democrats will fight it until the end.

"The fastest-growing age cohort is people 65 and older," George F. Will writes. Because of their powerful incentive to vote, the political class has a permanent incentive to intensify the elderly’s incentive by enriching those benefits. wapo.st/4lEcvj9

Albany lawmakers would like to give themselves a pay raise. Do you think this is a good idea? I think not.

I am a YIMBY. I believe we need more housing to increase competition to lower rents and meet demand. I do not for the life of me understand how the city can work with homeowners to build ADUs where they can then set whatever rent the market can bare while demanding rent freezes on functionally obsolete buildings that are going bankrupt. It’s illogical and counterproductive.
Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani@NYCMayor

If you own a home with a basement, attic, or backyard, chances are you’ve thought about using it to earn a little extra income or as space for a loved one. We want to make it as easy (and affordable) as possible for you to do that. NYC recently legalized ADUs — but for too many New Yorkers, they’re still tied up in bureaucracy and expense. We're fixing that. Our new toolkit at nyc.gov/aduforyou includes preapproved building plans and a financing calculator so you can get right to building. If we want New York to remain a city for everyone, we have to make it easier for homeowners to stay here. ADU for You will do just that.

16mph isn't speeding. It's a general tax on drivers, intended specifically to extract as much money as possible while frustrating ordinary people out of their cars entirely. It's no coincidence that this impossibly low speed limit materialized during a budget crisis. This is the action of a government that hates its constituents.

Political disagreement is part of a free society. Endorsing violence is not. Anyone who blurs that line has no business leading federal law enforcement.

Absolutely massive news in PA House District 45. James Julius is the ONLY CANDIDATE to receive an endorsement from FOP Lodge #91, not just for the primary, but for the ENTIRE CYCLE. This is one of the most competitive seats in Pennsylvania this cycle, and home to many conservative Democrats and independents
James Julius@JamesJuliusPA

I'm honored to be the only candidate in House District 45 going into November to receive the endorsement of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #91. As your State Representative, I will be a constant supporter of our law enforcement, ensuring they have the tools and resources they need to keep our communities safe.

As the Senate considers Markwayne Mullin to lead DHS, keep in mind he was one of the lowest scores on the Liberty Index this year, at 32. That’s 32 out of 100. Is this the best person to lead the department?

The debt passed $39 trillion today. Paying a trillion dollars of interest annually on this debt causes hardship for tax-payers and robs us of resources that could otherwise be used for infrastructure or national defense. And ultimately, this debt will enslave our grandchildren.

This is an extremely important point. The chief beneficiaries of single family rental housing are not corporate landlords but the tenants who get to live in single family homes they otherwise could not afford.
Eric Levitz@EricLevitz

Elizabeth Warren's crackdown on corporate homebuilding is wildly regressive. Not only would the policy reduce the supply of housing - it would also require some landlords to oust their tenants en masse, so that wealthier families can purchase their homes vox.com/politics/48286…
