Hi, all my new followers and people stumbling upon me. Let me tell you about me: - I am a Libertarian. Big L. NOT a Republican. NOT a Democrat. NOT a Liberal or Conservative. - I talk about politics and both agree and disagree with people you love and hate. - I am very respectful in disagreement and debate. I'm not the one who's going to devolve into calling you names in a debate. I also welcome respectful debate. - I firmly believe that disagreement (on almost every subject) is not hatred. - I'm an IT guy by trade - leadership currently, but I came up through the sysadmin and netadmin ranks. - I also talk about music of all types and I like most things. There is one huge exception that someone who knows me will inevitably mention in the replies. - I also talk about sports, and am a fan of the @NHLFlames (#CofRed) @RedSox and @BuffaloBills (#LetsGoBuffalo) - and there are other teams I like, so we'll probably talk about that. - The sport I talk about most is curling, for sure, and I am what you would call a former curler at this point. That's worth more than just a list entry. - I live in Central Pennsylvania, but I have lived in Rochester NY (#585represent), Enfield CT, and for shorter times in Buffalo NY, Calgary AB, Raleigh NC, Olean NY (@StBonaventure graduate) and Columbus OH - and I've been to lots of other places. - Yes, I'm American, and yes, I talk a lot about Canada, too. Our two countries are both great and we have a lot to learn from each other. - Yes, I criticize the government. Of just about every country :D. I am fighting for a world set free in our lifetime. - I'm #AlreadyAgainstTheNextWar. - Poutine is the greatest food on the planet and I will die on that hill. - You can disagree with any or all of that and we can still be friends. - I'm a real person. I promise. I am happy to connect and converse with you and with anyone - so feel free to tell your friends, connect, ask questions, whatever. Picture of poutine for attention.

Call your Congressman and support permanent DST. And FFS stop using kids as your prop for everything and pretending they are only people that matter.

The message has been spread far and wide: If you see someone cutting down a Flock camera, no you didn't. Houstonians clearly got that message.

X just announced a "small tweak" to boost visibility between mutuals. And the timeline is already hilarious. "My reach is back!" "I'm seeing my friends again!" "The shadow ban is lifted!" Screenshot these posts. Save them somewhere special. Because in two weeks these exact same accounts will be posting "I'm shadow banned again" and "the algorithm is suppressing me." Every. Single. Time. New algo change drops. Everyone celebrates. Engagement settles. Everyone cries suppression. Rinse. Repeat. Maybe your reach isn't a conspiracy. Maybe the platform feeds you a honeymoon phase every time they tweak something and then reality comes back. Or maybe your last ten posts just weren't that good. Either way, set a reminder for two weeks from now. The "I'm shadow banned" posts are coming.

From my friends at @therealDeFlock This is the parking lot of the Lowe's store in Clearfield, PA. You cannot enter that parking lot without getting your license plate scanned. Just thought you should know that their competition in the area are local hardware stores without Flock ALPRs.

@canuck4liberty @amitylee13 He’s still salty over 2016 (which I understand) and is trying to build a libertarian nationalist movement (which I do not understand). Attacking people who supported him not only politically, but financially as well, is something I really don’t understand.

@amitylee13 I want to believe and encourage being all encompassing, but I do not trust the person asking the gotcha questions one bit.

@SmarterGameShow @MaineHippo83 @BoldLiberty @AP4Liberty Sometimes, our ideas aren’t going to be for everyone. And sometimes, we gotta move on to people who see our way. I still consider @AP4Liberty to be a friend but he’s one a different political path now. I wish him well.

@MaineHippo83 @BoldLiberty @AP4Liberty I honestly do not know what to do with people who think authoritarianism and hate are the only path forward. You cannot build a movement on resentment and control. Liberty grows by persuading people, building trust, and giving them something worth joining.

What happens when political philosophy runs into real-world edge cases? I pressed a FreedomFest attendee on where libertarian principles stop and where common sense begins. Do these questions expose contradictions, or are they unfair hypotheticals?

And Austin pretended not to know me or that he’s been on my show.🤣 We need people who want to build the liberty movement, not tear it apart. We need builders, problem solvers, and people who can persuade others to join us. Virtue signaling does not grow a movement. Building relationships, winning hearts, and advancing liberty does.

@Lindseybuilds ESPECIALLY for consumer-facing companies. Social media is the first place the modern consumer goes for both research AND support.

@Gina_T1 You're certainly not wrong. These disputes usually have a fair bit of blame on both sides. Trump way overreacted to the Reagan commercial. Ford is a button-pusher, for sure, but Trump took the bait.

In my opinion, I think both sides share some of the blame. A deal was reportedly close to being reached in October, but then the Ontario premier released that Reagan commercial. It’s not surprising the U.S. administration didn’t react well to it, and the deal ultimately fell apart. Anyone with a bit of common sense could have predicted that commercial would upset the U.S. government.

@Gina_T1 What the SAQ did made NO sense. I agree. And yes, these tensions are so artificial and being fueled by Washington - and they are absurd. We need new leadership there.

@TonyForLP It’s one thing to not order more, and another thing to let what was already purchased waste in storage or destroy it. Makes no sense at all. 🤷‍♀️ I can’t wait for this to be over. I miss my Californian wines.
