I’m way late… But this is some pretty fun baseball IQ from Drew Gilbert in center. He caught the ball as low as *physically possible* to try and get the runner to leave a hair early (then he unleashed a throw that didn’t need a bounce LOL)

Lot of talk about Arizona drafting Love at 3. I still find it hard to believe they’d actually spend money on Allgeire and also bring back James Conner if they were keen on drafting Love. At 3 they’d know almost 100% he’d be there when they pick. Went back and between Jeanty (LV), Bijan (ATL), CMC (CAR) and Barkley (NYG) only the giants signed or traded for an RB prior to that draft. That was 30 yo Jonathan Stewart who was a clear bridge/#2 when he signed and had not been productive for 2 years prior. This would be a pretty odd move by ARI considering what they did to the RB room this offseason imo

Talking to several coaches around the NFL right now ... they are STUNNED the #Giants got what they did for Dexter Lawrence. All agree: Very good player, but not worth No. 10. Age, injury and concerns regarding his conditioning pointed out. Also that you need to limit the number of snaps he plays to maximize his production; really just a one position player. Needless to say: Great return for #NYG.
