Wish the NBC crew would all call that out for what it is, but I suspect they spent much of the second half deciding who would take a position for and who would take a position against. Robbie drew the short straw. Just explain to me how the Pedro kick away was OK by PL standards.

@petshopboys Congrats to u. brilliant stuff. More than brilliant in fact. My favourite song ever, “It’s a sin”, significantly above the highest bar set when it was released. It was my birthday present to be there from my missus. What a gift. Is it recorded anywhere for me to access?

It’s been a wonderful five days at the Royal Opera House in London. Here we are with Clare, Simon and Affy, our brilliant band, after the final show. Thanks to everyone who worked on it and everyone who came along — the feeling of the warmth around us all was so strong! #PetText

Googled it. A Tory seat. Save yourself time googling it and google gerrymandering instead.

Still blowing my mind that Chester will have a different MP for north and south of the river. Aren’t most cities built on rivers as historically people wanted to be near water and food sources? Such a weird delineation. Makes so little sense.

@kaihavertz29 I wasn’t sure how it would work to begin with last summer but I much admire your strength of character - and thereon your ability - to become a really important player for Arsenal. I would give you status as a Top Gunner!!! Nice one fella 👌🏻

Where do I start.. My first season has been one which has helped me grow as a person and a player in many ways. Very grateful for all the support this season, from fans, staff and my team mates. It’ll take time to process everything but I know with this club we can achieve big things.

@CorrigansFood The strength of character is incredible, the will to find somehow a better life is amazing. Sorry difficult to make it not sound facile and patronising but really what a fantastic journey.

Where are you watching the match today? I'll be in my Belfast living room with my fiancée, who is now a fully-fledged Arsenal fan, drinking copious amounts of rum whatever way it goes....

VAR was brought in because the officials were useless. VAR has been shite because the same useless officials it was brought in to help are the ones in charge of it. Put people with no association to PGMOL in the booth and it improves. Binning it doesn't solve the root problem.
David Ornstein@David_Ornstein

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Premier League clubs to vote on proposal to scrap VAR from next season. Resolution formally submitted by Wolves to abolish system + will be on agenda at June 6 AGM. Any rule change needs 2/3s majority (14 of 20 members) to pass @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/54950…

@StuartBroad8 Totally. Why can’t there be the conversation between the video ref and the ref on the pitch (like rugby) which we can all hear, and see…if he got the ball, fine. If he didn’t, then say you are wrong and here’s the correct decision.

Just rewatched the Everton Vs Forest highlights. 3rd pen shout, ref clearly says Young “got the ball.” When it’s so clear on video he hasn’t, how is VAR not overturning that? The reason it’s NOT given as a pen is the ref wrongly thought Young got the ball, so surely that’s a clear and obvious error to overturn?

@Deliveroo right, a chipotle order tonight was 180 degrees wrong. 20 min conversation with customer service about why WE are wrong. Literally you did nothing correct in terms of the order. 7 days for a refund but you were pretty quick to take the money?

@StuartBroad8 And the nonsense we’ve seen this weekend - refs, VAR, and actually even pundits not calling out what we can all see with our own eyes at normal speed.

I think this statement is poor but I also get it. It’s past frustration now. So much at stake. Virtually every game we’ve had weird decisions that even neutral fans can’t understand. We sort of have to accept it, can’t see anything we can do?

This is not what football is about. VAR ruined one of the greatest FA Cup moments ever. A toenail offside. Give me a break. Coventry should be in the final. Utterly pathetic.

@ubereats what’s the matter with you? You got the order totally wrong, you totally refuse to refund us as quickly as you took the money. Why would there be any discussion when you have fouled it up so badly?

You know that person in your family that everyone treated perfectly well, but they just go out of the way to slag off the family at gatherings? That’s Lee Dixon.
