LeBron was the better defender that year it was obvious, but they didn’t want the real GOAT to have the perfect season

@hoodijon That’s just wrong, they averaged the same number of Stocks, Gasol had a better defensive rating, and more defensive win shares. He was not a better defensive player than gasol was.

@OfficialDomNBA Wait, you’re telling the “greatest scorer of all time” as Bum fans love to say, has not even ONCE led the nba in points scored in a season in his entire career? 23 years and not once?! Ya, I’m not surprised either

@LBJgoat_talk @benjprocte @Biggz_91 During that span 70% of the all nba players were from the western conference lol. Brons east competition was unbelievably weak! Never once faced three 50 win teams in any single run and his opponents avg’d 49 wins in that span. WEAK! 😂

@NycVipers Serves as a reminder, bron who is in his 40’s is so good he hasn’t won mvp since he was in his 20’s. They try to tell you he’s the greatest player of all time when in reality he hasn’t even been the best player in the league in a decade and a half 😂 his entire 30’s - ZERO mvps’s

It's easy when you start from the top; the Knicks were already a contender. A 51-31 team the year before. Bron got Brown when he was a rookie coach, and the Cavs were barely winning 30+ games. Bron at age 22 carried him to the Finals in 2007 with a mediocre team. Brown won coach of the year in 2009 when Bron had an explosive year, winning his first MVP. Why couldn't Mike Brown get the Kings to the Finals? He won coach of the year in 2023 while with them. 🤔🤔🤫🤫 Coaches are no different than players; they grow over time, but trying to ignore where they came from is just disingenuous.

@JuggernautBron So the strategy to rest MJ for the final push worked and these morons are so retarded they’re trying to trash it lol. MJ sat for just over 3 minutes in the 4th then came back in and took over scoring 12 in the quarter and they won lol. MJ 33 4 4 w/4 stl 54% fg 67% 3pt 100% FT 🤦‍♂️

VIDEO: Bulls comeback in the Finals without MJ. In Game 6 of the 1992 Finals the Bulls were down 17 points at the end of the 3rd quarter. With MJ (and their 3rd best player Horace Grant) cheering on the BENCH, the Bulls reserves and Pippen closed the 17 point gap to just 3 points in a matter of minutes. No MJ, no problem. It wasn’t just the Bulls’ 2nd 3peat where they had by far the best roster in the NBA. It was during their 1st 3peat as well. What happened when LeBron went to the bench? Could his teams do this? Could any superstar’s team do this in the modern era outside of the KD Warriors who everyone puts an asterisk on? Keep in mind the Blazers’ best player and arguably the 3rd best basketball player in the world Arvydas Sabonis was stuck overseas. That is MJ’s legacy: The most help and the most luck. But sure let’s all judge Wemby for losing in the finals. 👍🤣 Maybe he should have gone to the bench and let the reserves take over … oh wait only MJ can do that and still win. The more ya know. 🫡

@MilesMcConnel10 @JuggernautBron @JohnJohn2362 They’re worth the same thing aren’t they since the goal is the ring? People are talking about the Knicks today not the teams that didn’t make the playoffs or the teams that were eliminated in the first round

stop it dawg. stop it!! 😭 I grew up watching jordan too but yall acting like 2015-16 golden state wasn’t sensational enough to put this debate to sleep. 73-9. they led the league in offense, finished top 5 in defense, had the first unanimous mvp in nba history, and went 24-0 to start the season. i ain’t never seen a team make the rest of the league look outdated the way the 2016 warriors did. steph curry had the world questioning what was even a bad shot anymore. bro talking bout 96 bull. c’mon now put some respect on that team.
Gunther Eagleman™@GuntherEagleman

Every generation thinks their team was the greatest. Every fan base swears they had a dynasty. But when the conversation turns to the greatest team ever assembled, the 1996 Bulls are always in the room. So let’s settle it. If you’re NOT picking the ’96 Bulls, who are you taking and why? 👇🏀 72-10. Championship. Jordan. Pippen. Rodman. Good luck topping that. 😏
