Before you send money home, pay yourself first. A percentage works. Remove your own money first. Work on what is left. Especially if you receive salaries. The emergencies that people will bring to your table should not come from what you saved for your future but what is left after you have paid yourself. Make it hard to reach what you paid yourself. That is not wickedness. That is just how you are going to survive. You are your own plan B.
