Let me tell you what is wrong with this.
Before the war started, the Strait of Hormuz was open.
Oil moved through it every day. American ships, European ships, Asian ships. One hundred tankers a day. Twenty percent of the world's oil. No blockade. No crisis. No emergency.
Then on February 28, the United States and Israel launched a war on Iran.
That was not Europe's decision. Europe did not ask for it. Europe did not vote for it. France, Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom publicly opposed it. Pope Leo the Fourteenth opposed it. The United Nations Secretary-General opposed it.
The United States started the war anyway.

(Reuters) - A top envoy for U.S. President Donald Trump has asked FIFA to replace Iran with Italy in the upcoming World Cup, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday. The plan is an effort to repair ties between Trump and Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni after the two fell out amid the American president's attacks against Pope Leo XIV over the Iran war, the FT reported, citing people familiar with the matter. "I confirm I have suggested to Trump and (FIFA president Gianni) Infantino that Italy replace Iran at the World Cup. I'm an Italian native and it would be a dream to see the Azzurri at a US-hosted tournament. With four titles, they have the pedigree to justify inclusion," U.S. special envoy Paolo Zampolli told the FT. The White House, FIFA, the Italian Football Federation(FIGC) and Iran's football federation (FFIRI) did not immediately respond to Reuters' requests for comment.

Something that has never happened in the history of football is about to happen in the Premier league this season And it's not about Arsenal bottling the league It's about Wolverhampton wanderers. The season started with Wolves as the bottom team due to alphabetical order After their first game, they were still bottom as they lost to Manchester City 4:0. And since then, they have never left that position The chances of a team never changing a position they were placed in alphabetically at the beginning of the season stands at 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000003649%. Something close to impossible is just a bout to happen.

@TomJGarry It’s a shame that the same priority isn’t placed on developing the younger players in the WNL. While the once thriving reserve section is decimated, the priority shifts to developing players from external leagues and clubs that already benefit from higher opportunities.

Too many young players are not getting the opportunity due to the stigma around Tier 3…. Trust T3 clubs with young talent from WSL clubs rather than leading them to believe anything lower than WSL 2 is not aiding their development.
