@UnshadowedShow Installing now-available & reliable electrolysis units in cars to generate combustible hydrogen could help minimize this issue. But that would probably interfere with someone's crisis-management plans.

South Korea to limit access to roads by license plate numbers "due to energy crisis." Exactly as planned by ... yep! You guessed it! I think we all get that the technocratic agenda is rolling out, an entirely scripted reaction to this "crisis." via aa.com.tr/en/asia-pacifi…

Jane Allen was suffering from anorexia. She traveled to Colorado seeking treatment. Instead, her doctor offered assisted suicide — a prescription for death. Her father intervened just in time. Jane began to heal — eating again, tapering off morphine. The anorexia clinic dropped her, calling her a “liability.” When Jane chose life, her doctors walked away. Assisted suicide isn’t healthcare. It’s preying on the sick and vulnerable.

@newstart_2024 One thing about the Amish, with autism nonexistent in their population: although attributed to non-vaccination, there's also the factor of consuming homemade sauerkraut - high in Vit C (you've spoken about its connection to bifidobacteria) and probiotic-rich.

Dr. Sabine Hazan drops a jaw-dropping case: Identical twins, both severely autistic and completely nonverbal, had identical disrupted microbiomes (high bad microbes, low good ones). After targeted microbiome correction—flipping the balance to high beneficial microbes and low harmful ones—both children became fully verbal, speaking, and reading. She calls it clinical proof + measurable microbiome change: “Now you know the kid has improved.” 44-second clip—autism, gut-brain axis, and a potential game-changer. Is the microbiome the missing link in severe autism cases? Or is this too good to be true without larger trials? Your thoughts—seriously, drop them below.

@JhWesten It seems Bp. Strickland's words highlight a stronghold of fear within bishops' conferences - fear of breaking consensus with influential brother bishops; - fear of cost of confronting prevailing ideological moral blind spots. 2Tim 1:7 comes to mind: biblehub.com/2_timothy/1-7.…

Bishop Joseph Strickland confronts U.S. bishops: government money, moral silence, and trafficked children. “When ministries depend on state funding to the point of silence, the Church’s prophetic voice is weakened. The Church must never profit from the suffering of others.”

@VigilantFox I was teaching when computers entered the classroom. Endless software & hardware purchases for YEARS were a tech market dream. Some of it helpful; a lot unnecessary. Most proponents bought it, starry-eyed, and probably still won't believe these stats. Proof's in the pudding.

This teacher-turned-cognitive scientist shared a disturbing reality that left the room stunned. “Our kids are LESS cognitively capable than we were at their age.” Every previous generation outperformed its parents since we began recording in the late 1800s. So, what happened? Screens. Dr. Jared Horvath explained: “Gen Z is the first generation in modern history to underperform us on basically every cognitive measure we have, from basic attention to memory, to literacy, to numeracy, to executive functioning, to EVEN GENERAL IQ, even though they go to more school than we did.” “So why? … The answer appears to be the tools we are using within schools to drive that learning (screens).” “If you look at the data, once countries adopt digital technology widely in schools, performance goes down significantly, to the point where kids who use computers about five hours per day in school for learning purposes will score over two-thirds of a standard deviation LESS than kids who rarely or never touch tech at school. And that’s across 80 countries.” But screens aren’t just decimating learning and making new generations less intelligent than the ones before them. They’re doing something far worse. And when you take a closer look, it isn’t pretty. 🧵

@CatholicLand Agreed. The values that shaped Western culture were drawn from the Bible. Secularism has ravaged our cultural landscape. We must return to our sources and rebuild - in our families and small communities, of one heart & mind united in the breaking of the bread (see Acts 2:42).

As the American social and legal order continues to fracture, serious Catholics must begin looking beyond the failing liberal paradigm. The next step is to return to an older, deeper form of law: the Christian tradition of customary law, natural law, and right order—a model built not on ideology but on living tradition, communal wisdom, and divine truth.

The elites won’t tell you this—but the science is clear. A groundbreaking study from the University of Nebraska revealed something shocking: raising more cows could actually save the planet. Turns out, cows are carbon negative—they produce more oxygen than the methane and carbon they emit. So what’s the solution? Eat more steak. Save the world. The climate activists won’t like this… but facts don’t bend to ideology.

@Catholicizm1 I'm fine with guitar at Mass if musicians prioritize leading people to prayerful encounter with Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Regardless of instrument, Hymns must reflect readings, theme, season/feast & part of Mass.

Last week my dad caught an episode where we criticized guitars at Mass. Last night I had dinner w/him and he insisted it’s not the guitar, but the type of music. He made me watch this but we still disagreed. Can guitars be appropriate for Mass if the music is not cheesy?

@ElijahSchaffer May God bless you richly for honestly seeking His presence in your family's life. Jesus is real. He means what he says in stating, "This is my Body", and "I am the Bread of Life." May you and your family come to embrace Him who alone will satisfy your deepest hunger.

@CatholicSat Participation & communion, but with order: consultative subordinated to deliberative. Consultative - listening to what the Spirit is saying through members of the body, subordinated to deliberative charism of oversight gifted to shepherds, led by Peter. No order, no communion.

Speaking to the Ordinary Council of the General Secretariat of the Synod of Bishops, Pope Leo XIV says: "Pope Francis has given a new impetus to the Synod of Bishops, and the legacy he has left us seems to me to be above all this: that Synodality is a style, an attitude that helps us to be Church, promoting authentic experiences of participation and communion."

@IndianaBrunner Symbol in the true sense, participates in the reality it signifies (a sign points to a deeper reality). Eucharistic species are symbol, participating in the reality of Body and Blood of Christ. Commemoration is not just remembering; it is a rendering present of a saving reality.

Indiana Brunner@IndianaBrunner·
The early church did not teach transubstantiation, nor did they condemn a symbolic view of the Eucharist. Take Ignatius, for example.
In his letter to the Smyrneans, he was refuting gnostics who denied that Jesus had a real, physical body with real blood. He connects the Eucharist to their heresy because if Christ didn’t have a true body, then the Eucharist is meaningless. What would the bread and wine even represent?
But notice, Ignatius never rejects symbolism. Tertullian makes the same point against the gnostics, and he’s even more direct. He explicitly calls the bread and wine symbols: “Jesus made it His own body by saying, 'This is My body,' that is, the SYMBOL of My body. There could not have been a SYMBOL, however, unless there was first a true body... An empty thing or phantom is incapable of a SYMBOL.” (Against Marcion 4.40) You cannot partake worthily of the Eucharist if you deny the very thing it commemorates (the real, physical body of Christ). After all, the word “Eucharist” means thanksgiving. How can you give thanks for what you refuse to affirm was ever reality? Also, I believe in real presence in the Eucharist. Since when is the Spirit not real?
