This is very unfair. I have respect for Pastor Chris but this attack on all vaccines is setting a dangerous precedent right now. Right now, we are recording a resurgence of Measles outbreaks in states of countries like the US. Same happened in Nigeria with Diphtheria in 2023. All because of vaccine hesitancy. I earlier mentioned diseases like TB, Diphteria, Measles, Smallpox that have totally become less prevalent and lethal (with some wiped out) all thanks to vaccines. But now our words and actions are about to undo years of progress we have made here. You can’t just throw away a baby with the bathwater. Yes, you can be skeptical, you can ask your Doctors questions. Make your own research, and base your conclusions on real scientific evidence and data. Vaccine hesitancy will bring back long forgotten outbreaks and bring to ground zero a healthcare system that is barely alive. Developed countries like the US, Europe and other developed nations MIGHT have the luxury to afford not vaccinating their children and damn the consequences owing to the healthcare systems they have built for disease management and control. But you, living in Nigeria or in Africa, literally CAN’T. Finally, I want you need to remember that these actions have real consequences, and when it all goes to shxt, when there’s no where else to go, and you finally come to the hospital with your baby begging Doctors to “do something,” you will remember that it was your decision that put you in that situation. Do not say we did not warn you. You can bookmark this tweet for future reference.
