I apologize for the length of this, but it needs to be said: Some people on this platform wonder why I put a spotlight on the LDS organization. I hate deception. I was deceived as a child, and since being born again, I consider it my responsibility to point out how the enemy counterfeits what God has accomplished through Scripture. I have been through the Bible cover to cover a great number of times and still joyfully meditate on it day and night. I am a machinist by trade and part of my responsibility is inspection. I have a blueprint to follow and many different features to measure, ensuring that my parts are within each of the listed specifications. If there is even one discrepancy, the part must be rejected and tossed into the fire. The funny thing about the Book of Mormon is that not just one feature is out of print, but they ALL are. The Holy Bible is the means in which we test the spirits, to see if they are from God, and the Book of Mormon fails miserably in every category. If you're keeping score, there are dozens of things I have already pointed out, but there are many more to come. If an uneducated blue collar worker can see these things, surely some intelligent LDS members can, as well, and perhaps the Lord can set them free from Joseph Smith's heavy burdens of self righteousness and spiritual pride. That is my hope and prayer, anyway. Lord bless.

I just don’t understand how any parent or church could send their young daughters or sons out to some of the most dangerous places on earth to walk the streets with a single companion and go to strangers homes for 2 years straight....endangerment?

This week I have seen Mormons: Post a summa objection as meaning St. Thomas argued it. Post apostolic succession with a 1,800 year gap. Post that because their name has “Jesus” in it they must be Christian. Like Scientology, people being Mormon baffles me.

So. After an 11-2 season and years of success legendary Utah coach Kyle Whittingham decides he wants to keep coaching. Asks for more money/resources. Utes AD Mark Harlan offers a small raise, says he's done after one year and gives all power to Morgan Scalley on recruiting AND wants him to cede power to him as well. Basically--completely undercutting him. Whitt says no, works out a $13.5 mil buyout plus other incentives that Harlan agrees to. And then Harlan is surprised and butthurt when Whitt raids coaches/players of the program?! Did I summarize this right?!

@CFBKings The current approach isn't really working for what we want. To get the desired effect, we need to make it more like hockey. Kick them out for a set amount of in-game time. A 30-minute disqualification would make things consistent no matter when the targeting happens.

The NCAA has made slight changes to the punishment for targeting. This fall, a player disqualified for targeting for the FIRST time during the season, regardless of which half of the game it occurs, may participate in the next game. Any player disqualified for targeting a SECOND time during the season will be required to miss the first half of the next game. If a player is disqualified for a THIRD targeting penalty during the season, the player will be required to miss the entire next game (no players were disqualified for targeting three times in the 2025 season).
