@Sportsnet @AdamVingan It’s obvious how we got here. They destroyed the team chemistry when Mitch was forced out by the media & fans. Once they learn to stop directing so much negativity to the team, the Leafs can build a competitive team. Otherwise it won’t happen.

@NHLhumor Why would he come back when the Leafs fans don’t appreciate him. These same unappreciated fans will probably never see a Stanley Cup in Toronto because they don’t understand how much negativity they place on the team.

@BarDown No surprise. The biggest issue with the Toronto Maple Leafs is the media and the fans. They are so critical of the players that they cast so much negativity on the team. Not the first time we seen a player have success elsewhere than in Toronto.

@pdrobertson The Liberals may be the first to congratulate him as you play into their hands. Majority of Canadians didn’t support him in the last election. Not sure anything has changed. We need change in leadership and policies if we want to beat the Liberals.

Pierre Poilievre is going to win a resounding victory in the CPC leadership review. His keynote will be a home run; receiving even grudging praise from people who don’t like him. All in all, it will be a great convention for him and the party. Check back when it’s done to see if I’m wrong.

Andrew Scheer in his recent interview with CTVNews said : “The advantage the Liberals have is that they are unburdened by principle”, couldn’t have said it any better.

@GurvSC The Conservative party has lost the respect of Canadians. What the party has been doing isn’t working. Liberals are still in charge. Remove your fail leadership, @PierrePoilievre & @AndrewScheer. New leadership & policies are overdue to regain respect to the party.

Pierre Poilievre is one of the greatest coalition builders I’ve ever seen in Canadian politics. He’s brought in people from all sides into the party, unified conservatives, etc. There is no other person in the CPC capable of doing the job he’s done. He deserves to stay on.

@Concern70732755 This might actually be a bad photo to post. The one on the left won an election. The other 2 both lost elections with the one on the right loosing his seat. Not very positive.

@TrendPolCa @PierrePoilievre That’s unfortunate. What this party has been doing since they lost to the Liberals hasn’t been working. The party needs to look at change otherwise it will be much of the same old party, always the runner up.

1200 workers will be laid off on Friday ! This despite Ford’s enthusiastic support of Carney’s China’s EV deal ! The union and management are encouraging the Govt to get the USMCA deal completed! That is their only chance of protecting their jobs & families future !!

@AndrewScheer We do need to get these projects going but it does take time to work with the different levels of government & indigenous people. Yes we can’t just walk all over everyone like you and the Conservatives want.

@ztisdale Ya, who needs healthcare. I’m not prepared to give that up. Canadian taxes do help to pay for that.

Trump said that if Canada joined the United States then Canadians would pay a lot less in tax. Cutting taxes would be the number one way to ease the cost-of-living crisis created by too much government.
