@TopLobsta @GodsNode I can’t say anything about anyone’s salvation, that’s for God to know! From our view, we see ourselves as the fullness of the faith. It’s as if Prots & Caths have a delicious nutritious turkey sandwich, but the church has the full Thanksgiving dinner.

@TopLobsta @GodsNode There’s plenty of genuine disagreements you can go after, but that one ain’t it. No one at my church or any Orthodox Church that I’ve met has paid for baptism or had ever heard of that before this week. Simony is definitely a major sin in Orthodoxy that we reject

@TopLobsta @GodsNode You know how Owen tells people not to “take the ticket” by attacking or overthrowing the government, because the system is preferable to the chaos of no system? Now apply that logic to what happened with Protestantism and the new dozens/hundreds of conflicting denominations.

This meme pretty much sums up why the Orthodox church has been the target of so many for the last week. Will they learn from this? Probably not.

@GodsNode @TopLobsta He’s never mocked God. He doesn’t understand the Incarnation or the Trinity & he’s been more humble about that in recent years. Doesn’t make him a bad guy or a bad actor.
