Giving a young man an extra year to mature emotionally, academically, and physically will only help him in the long run. It’s not cheating if the rules of the state allows it. Just my 2 cents.

@CoronadoCuatro @coachkeith_1k In Texas, he can’t turn 19 before Sept 1st of his senior year. If he turned 15 this year , he’s 15th at end of his Freshman football season, 16th sophomore, 17 junior, 18 senior year. He’s fine.

@CoachJayUConn I work with track and football athletes. Every opinion on this thread can be correct at one point or another but on average, this is what I’ve seen with my athletes: 4.4 equals 10.6-10.8 100m 4.5 equals 10.9-11.1 4.6 equals 11.2-11.3 4.7 equals 11.4-11.6 4.8 equals 11.7-11.8

So you know if you run 11.6 in the 100m you CANNOT run 4.5 in the 40.... Literally Impossible !!!!

His feet hadn’t touch the ground when you hit him. By todays rules, it’s a penalty. But…. I have no idea what else you can do to stop him from catching the ball. Very hard for a defender these days.
